Zanik vs Lindsey

Just wanted you guys to chime in on where you think the franchise sits with Justin in as general manager. I know Lindsey did what he could for us, but do you think we may become more aggressive and gain a higher amount of traction with zanik's approach ? I know Dennis will still have a say in all the deals and decisions ...

Honestly I grew sick of DL's conservative approach and philosophy of making internal changes than to look for changes outside of the franchise. He made a huge mistake at the trade deadline with keeping the bust Exum and I can go on and on about his there wasn't anything good available , let's sit tight do a run it back approach. Keep a non shooting pg and extend a bust for costly amounts of money not having the balls to trade him during the deadline.

Being a Canadian born in Toronto , I despise DL for not taking risks as Masai did, hopefully Zanik makes history this summer with it being one of the most biggest off-seasons in franchise history.

I hope Donovan and Gobert, even Crowder can help in the recruiting process (if he isn't traded)

Franchises are giving shiny new titles to people to make them feel good. Zanik essentially went from assistant to the regional manager, to assistant regional manager.

Personally i think DL will make sure zanik has a lot to say, it looks like a shiny tittle but I think zanik will be very involved in the big decisions to come.

Masai didnt take a risk. He traded a bum *** deluxe version of Ronnie Brewer, a big white guy who's name rhymes with turtle, and the 30th overall pick for Kawhi Leonard AND Danny Green.

Even if Kawhi left, the deal was arguably a win just to get off DeMar's contract.

Everything they say is that decisions have always been a collaborative process. You have to think Zanik is given a bit more authority because the decision go on his resume.

How’s the Brit version?

I bought season one of it a decade ago and watched a couple episodes of it since Gervais is hysterical but I found that skinny kid (pictured) weird.

I don't think anything's really going to change. Basically they were afraid they were going to lose Zanik so they gave him and Lindsey new job titles and raises. All decisions will continue to be a collaborative process with Lindsey having final say.

DL is still making the final decisions. The philosophy and approach the front office has isn't likely to change.

The original Office is the ****ing ****. It’s incomparable to the American adaptation. You might have to watch the series twice to fully appreciate it. But there are so many moments that are incomprehensibly funny.

I think the American version had much lower lows, and slightly higher highs, but overall was worse that the original. And I love that they did it all so tightly - just 13 episodes total.
