The Aussies I have known (including one of my best friends) portray a DGAF attitude, but once you get to know them nothing could be further from the truth. Super intense! I would be interested to hear if other people with close relationships to Aussies (especially including the Aussies themselves) have experienced the same thing.

The one I was close to was %100 don't give a ****.
He was in his early 20's at the time though which definitely played a part in his care free attitude I'm sure.

You put the % on the wrong side of the number. Is that code for the opposite of 100%? Or don't you GAF?

Also, when we were in our 20's I thought my Aussie friend was super chill. Only long afterwards did I learn how wrong I had been (according to him) and the chill side pretty much disappeared. Still an awesome guy but ultra high stress. I recently saw a video that captured this paradox perfectly. It's hysterical and spot on for the Aussie's I have known, but full of profanity so I can't post it here. PM me if you want to see it.
