You're the GM this offseason. What do you do?

DLo is a PG who can score but balances scoring and passing. LaVine is a scoring SG who can pass some.

Russell could come with zero cost because we don't have to trade for him. If Russell goes elsewhere, we can consider trading for LaVine. Comparing the two is kind of pointless.

Bjelica gives you an easy out on Faves and the too-much-money-for-either-a-strictly-backup-5-or-a-not-4-that-makes-the-team-play-worse. You’ve acquired a legit stretch four and jettisoned about $4 million in cap this year (salary difference on top of losing the auto-caphold for the first round pick). $4 million is either an additional player in free agency or a player that is $4 million per year better than you might otherwise have money for.

Worst case scenario, you’re over with this Exum and Favors non-sense. If a matchup isn’t good, you’ve got Royce and Jae, just like you would’ve but you’re not destroying your spacing and you’re saving $5-$10 million a year.

And yeah, the Jazz could end up with the same player they might have drafted at #23, but if they don’t then they aren’t on-the-hook for the salary or roster spot, necessarily.

Russell would be player I think we have a chance at. I prefer him to Harris.

Kuzma would be an amazing pickup if we could get him.

That lineup has tons of potential and is already good. Those players also like each other.
 
The amount of tampering in the NBA reminds me of that one time that a raccoon stole my penis but I couldn’t say anything.
 
Ok, so if everyone is so set on Love being able to be acquired without assets, send out Favors/Exum/Bradley for Love, MLE Beverley, BAE Dedmon, give Caruso a contract, and darft Bol Bol. When Love ages and phases put, Bol Bol can be our version of the Zinger and the league can see what the real twin towers can do.

I do like a starting lineup of Beverley, Mitchell, Ingles, Love, and Gobert.

Kuzma and Russell would be awful. One or the other. Defense would be wrecked with both.
 
New Orleans should tank rebuild. They could get multiple picks and young players for both AD and Jrue. No reason to try and retool already. Next year the will get another lottery pick and then they can start trying to win.
