News, rumors and buzz around the draft and free agency

If Jazz keep Favors (as I hope they do), what $$$ do they have to offer free agents? Is it mid-level, bi-annual? What?
Room MLE ($4.7 million IIRC), and minimum contracts.

Straight up: that **** would be dumb. This team is still lacking a competent/durable 3rd guard, at least one PF, and at least one wing. The team could still use more scoring/shooting threats generally speaking as well.

Same issues would remain if we replaced Favors with Portis on 15-ish million a year contract though (which is what it would likely take to get him)

What do we think Jamychal Green's price point is? If we let Favors go adding multiple pieces might be the way to go honestly.
Nah, let’s keep Favors and run thin on the bench because Favors is too important.

I see only two ways to get Bojan.

Opt out of Favors (and even then I think we’re a little short $) or trade Exum and Ingles. Ingles 13M alone isn’t enough.

But maybe I’m wrong, the market with dry up with these max guys filling up space, and Bojan could be had far cheaper than the ~20M anticipated.

And if we opt out of Favors to get Bojan, who the hell do we have playing the 4?

Don’t think I’d really care though with this core.

Conley
Mitchell-Exum
Bogdanovic-Ingles
?
Gobert

Bring bacon Sef on the VM. Vince Carter maybe on the same.
