With the 2nd pick of the 2011 1970's NBA Draft, Chad selects:
Though not as dominant as he was in his earlier day Wilt was still a force in the 70s. Part of the '72 Lakers championship team, that won 33 games in a row. It's Wilt, what more needs be said.
PG - Stockton
SG - Kobe Bryant, Clyde "The Glide" Drexler
SF - Adrian Dantley
PF - Charles Barkley, Paul Millsap
C - Wilt Chamberlain

Just saying. Wilt was hardly a leader and the combo of him and Kobe could be destructive to say the least. Couple that with Barkley who never bit his tongue and I could see that team unraveling.
Shaq, Bird and Kidd are all business though.

Kobe was so destructive that he has 5 rings? Wilt as a leader? Not really needed. Kobe or Barkley can be leaders. Barkley is outspoken but was he ever considered to be a bad teammate? Barkley, like Kobe, was all about trying to win. Thus trying to get with Hakeem and Pippen in Houston.
Wilt was on a team that won 33 in a row! That's some bad chemistry right there.
Shaq and Bird are a nasty combo. I still think I have the superior team top to bottom. Can you imagine Stockton feeding Wilt, Kobe, Barkley & Drexler? Good luck.

I still don't like the chemistry. Too many alpha males. Stockton would defer of course but I think it would get ugly with the remaining four knuckleheads.
Sure, Kobe was great when he got help. But will Barkley and Wilt and Drexler defer. I'm not sure. Just a weird potpourri of egos for me. Just my opinion though. Don't take it so hard. Just my initial reaction. Obviously your team is very good.

It's all for kicks and giggles anyway right?70s Wilt, while not nearly as dominant as he was earlier in his career was still a major force. When he was with the Lakers (70s) he did defer to West, Baylor, Goodrich, Hairston.
So I am not sure how much Barkley and Kobe would have to defer really. More of Drexler and Dantley deferring. But if you are worried how Drexler and Dantley are going to fit in your team is stacked.
