Was he expected to be a 48 min starter? Offensive juggernaut? Play ahead of Gobert in crunch time?

Some of you are just being stupid.

Davis is a dream backup to Gobert at a damn good price.

I've been watching a lot of Ed Davis game highlights. Aside from running the floor like a gazelle (for his size) he always seems to have really good timing and he tends to be in the right place at the right time. He also has good hands and doesn't fumble the ball.

Conley, Davis and Bogdonavic are all regarded as great teammates. I’m expecting the team’s chemistry to continue to be excellent moving forward.

Davis is like DFavs lite. Not as good of a shooter or defender, but somewhat close on defense and a better rebounder.

He's gonna fit in well here. I like that Utah is bringing in likable players.

Kind of. We're fine without him but he would bring a much needed element that this team desperately needs right now. He just needs to stay healthy for once in his life. Not going to lie, I'm not holding my breath.

You know when close games shorten and you’re shooting free throws at the end? Well, when you need to sub and secure rebounds off missed free throws, you now have two guys on the floor combining for a 47% total rebounding percentage.

The biggest thing I love about Ed Davis, aside from being a great locker room guy and rebounding monster, is that Quin feels absolutely no pressure or responsibility to ever start him or ever give him minutes at the 4.
