Paul George and Kawhi to the Clippers

The Clippers definitely have an impressive defense team. What does their bench look like? Giving up all those picks they better win a championship because they have no way of adding depth through the draft. I certainly think this makes them one of the contenders. All the attention will be on LA and Jazz can just relax and be under the radar.
I recently learned that draft picks are kind of worthless to a contending team. They can just add depth with ring chasers

I always find it funny how people criticize the player who has earned the right for free agency when they leave a team. Toronto knew this was a possibility when they traded for Leonard. Their fans didn't have any compassion for Spur's fans when Leonard left SA. They got an NBA championship so they have a right to be disappointed but not feel cheated.
The whiny Laker fans are ridiculous. No one forced them to pursue KL, they could have used the 3rd max contract money earlier to surround Lebron and Davis with a better supporting cast. Instead they waited and lost. The West just got tougher and all the contenders have to prove it on the court. I like Utah's chances but no one is the clear favorite.

I wouldn't disagree but if PG and KL cannot bring a championship to LA then their rebuild is difficult without any picks. I know they are all in but there is no chance of drafting a DM or Rudy when you have no picks.

Paul George never really helped his team get out of the first round anyway, so it never really bothers me to be honest. Two years ago, when we first scheduled to play OKC in the playoffs against RW, PG and CA, we still kicked their asses so yeah bring it! Either we take you out again first round or someone else as well too.

What the clippers did, is the actual definition of saying “**** it, all it”

He is soft mentally, push off Paul

The Thunder actually made a great move here. They got unprotected first round picks from the Clippers, an unprotected first from Miami, a lottery protected first from Miami, SGA (who the Clippers didn’t want to trade and was the 11th pick in the 2018 draft), Gallinari (who was their best player last year) and to top it all off they got two pick swaps as well.

The Clippers lost two starters including their best player but added Kawhi and George. Let’s not act like they are just adding those two to the same 48-win team they had last year. They are going to be extremely good but this is a much better scenario than Kawhi going to the Lakers.

The Lakers.. I don’t even know where to start. You know how many reporters and so called “experts” said it was a done deal that Kawhi was coming? They have already spent their max cap space on Danny Green, Quinn Cook, KCP Javale McGee. They will still be good but that team is way worse than what it could have been.

The league is as wide open as its ever been since I can remember it’s going to be a fun and amazing year. And guess what? The Jazz are right in the mix with everyone and in my opinion have the best roster of any team in the league.

So we will beat both LA teams. That sounds cool. Bring it on

I think playoff seeding will be like a game of chess this upcoming season. Depending on how well the Clippers and Lakers play, some teams might want to lose at the end of the season just so they don’t have to run into the clippers or lakers in the first round. Either way, the jazz shouldn’t be scared. What I want more than ever (well not as much as I want the jazz to win a ring) is for the clippers and lakers to meet in the first or second round of the playoffs.

This year the Jazz may actually prefer Houston in the first round.

So of you guys must only watch jazz games. Did you see the clippers play last year, with nobody? They’re a great team with a great coach. Add 2 MVP candidates, in their prime. They just went from good, to top 3

MVP AND DPOY.

Think about this: they can finish games against Utah with PG on Conley, Kawhi on DM, and not roll with a traditional point guard at all. How's Utah gonna score? Or anyone else for that matter.

They gave up two players to get two HOF'ers in their primes.

(and picks ofc, but that doesnt make them a worse team). They still got a lot of what they had from last year.

I know. If you read my following posts you'll see that I think they are a top two team in the NBA. Possibly number one. I just don't think they are unstoppable or unbeatable like some people were saying.
