Have to say I'm not as high on Oni as others seem to be, shooting well on small sample and okay on D, but not a whole lot else.

Yeah, well that's what you're going to get. Some defense, some finishes on the break and some 3s. He doesn't look like he can create off the dribble right now.

If you can teach Oni how to dribble through contact, you have a good NBA starter. Even without that, he could be a great 5th option type starter.

And Oni's shot is legitimate, at least as far as spot-up shooting goes.

Oni can learn better defense, but you have to be impressed with how he has shot from three. 3 and D rotational ceiling which ain’t bad from a second round pick.

Oni was the 58th pick in the draft. He’s looking like a steal at this point. Good news is that his shot looks good, he has the body and athleticism to be an NBA defender and he seems to be intelligent with a solid work ethic. He has a LONG way to go before he cracks the rotation, but he can get some seasoning in practice and in the G-League.

Oni could crack the 15; Brantley maybe gets a two way. JWF is basically Lyles 2.0.

He looks quite good to be honest. I'm impressed. He kinda reminds me of Wesley Matthews.

It's not even close. JWF isnt close to what Burke was coming out of college as far as PG skills go.

JWF is simple too inefficient as a shooter. Hopefully the G-League teaches him some skills or he’s the next Harlan/Goss/Paige.
