Epstein is in Trouble

Sigh

Gee I wonder why... I can smell Acosta’s corruption from Utah.

Anyone in Congress wanna stand up against this? I mean, seems to me like we have a nasty problem. We should be pumping funds into this budget, not cutting it. Seems like it would be an easy thing you could use for re-election, unless of course, you fear Trump tweeting at you for fighting against sex trafficking.... Anyone from Congress wanna speak out?

Nancy? You good with this? Chuck? Mitch? Hello? Ben Sasse? Mitt Romney? Anyone???

Can the House impeach Acosta? And if so, why the heck wouldn’t they? Seems to me like it would be politically advantageous and morally expedient to at least attempt to remove that disgusting man from Trump’s cabinet. If the Senate wants to keep him well let that be on their hands

Seriously, I'm about as disappointed in the Democrats at this point for failing to do anything about Trump/Trump's cronies as I am in the Republicans. Children in cages at the border? No big deal. Children sex trafficked by a presidential (past and present) confidant? Who cares. Credible allegations about Trump raping a journalist/advice columnist? Boring. And that's all just in the past couple of weeks.

I mean, for as far apart as you and I have been over the years on SO MANY THINGS, it should really say something that we are so unified on stuff like this. And it makes me very sad for our country that so many others apparently are not.

The zero aggression taken by the House has not only deflated my enthusiasm for the party, but has really shocked me. It’s been one of the greatest surprises I’ve seen in my lifetime. Didn’t we all think that the Pelosi’s House would hold Trump’s feet to the fire? We all knew that McConnell’s Senate would stand by their man. But who foresaw the Democratic House laying down only after finally recapturing power?

You’d think the only item on Pelosi’s agenda would’ve been to humiliate Trump (by merely performing basic checks and balances). Pass legislative items? Sure whatever. They’d die in the Senate. But hold him accountable and force senators to make tough decisions to either stand by morals or stand by Trump? Absolutely.

Yet here we we.

And it makes zero political sense to me. What brings people together more than chocolate or pizza? Holding Trump accountable. It’s the chance of a lifetime for Democrats!

It’s crazy to me why she’s chosen... some other path. I’m not even sure what path that is.

Fundamental failure in leadership and vision. I don’t agree with most of the new freshmen dems but at least they have vision. So it’s a start I guess.

Hack trying to make something that is non partisan, into something partisan.
I'm shocked.

Good job Dutch jr

Why cant you talk in plain facts instead and get to the core of the issue instead of playing your stupid childish internet games?

Your stupidity is what contributes to these kids being subjected to this. The non partisan plea has already been made a along time ago and people like you called people who brought it up conspiracy theorists.

The facts are and have been that the majority of the media is controlled by the left. Thats not speculation or fantasy. Its a fact. The issue of child sex rings and high ranking politicians as well as Hollywood types has been brought up many times only to be met by opposition from the left controlled media. By way of censorship and disinformation. Which morons like you help them do by blindly supporting them because you arent smart. Those are the facts son. Its your partisanship is what is getting in the way of solving these problems. Not the other way around.

I am never shocked when one wing of the Pro-War, Pro-Business Party refuses to admonish the other wing of the PWPBP.

Disagree.

I think establishment Dems learned the wrong lesson from the Clinton impeachment. I think memories of the late 1990s is what’s terrifying Pelosi’s folks. Not some... pro war pro business faction that you’re talking about. That makes zero sense in regards to trump.

Also, I’m not surprised by the Clinton allegations. Dude was basically running drugs through Mena 35 years ago.

What I mean by "learned the wrong lesson from the Clinton impeachment" is that it's mostly seen as Republican overreach. It has been seen as "backfiring" on Republicans mostly because they failed at getting the Senate to indict, they lost some House seats, and Clinton's popularity went up (temporarily).

This is pathetic reporting and ultimately wrong. Yes the republicans failed at removing Clinton from office. But they also fatally wounded his family in politics and gave a tremendous blow to the DNC that reverberates even today.

Even though the Senate failed to indict, the impeachment hearings made Clinton a political pariah. He couldn't campaign for Gore. His party ended up losing all levers of government for almost a decade. Even today, Clinton is hot garbage.

The same could be done to Trump, except, instead of a dirty dress, there's massive amounts of corruption to uncover and publicize. It makes zero political sense to not exploit on Trump's crimes, behavior, and corruption. If the Senate fails to indict, so what? Use the undying support for Trump against senators in purple states. Keep the focus on Trump's administration and off the Biden/Harris cat fight.

It's politically advantageous and morally expedient to focus on Trump imo. Failing to impeach Trump hurts Democratic enthusiasm and turns the focus to the Democratic infighting. This is a recipe for success for Trump. He couldn't ask for a better deal!

There is no bottom. The failure to hold Trump accountable for anything... Is just unreal...

Trump isn't involved in the day to day operation of that club. It's a charity event being run by a legitimate business.

If you thought it was non-partisan, why link to a column that stamped it as being Democratic?

No, it's a known falsehood that those who don't have facts to present need to fall back on.

The issue of child sex rings and high ranking politicians as well as Hollywood types has been brought up many times only to be met by opposition from the left controlled media. By way of censorship and disinformation.

Since the NYT, Washington Post, Guardian, etc. all covered the Epstein case back in 2008, are you saying they are not part of the "left-controlled media"? Or, are you talking about Comet Ping Pong again?

Its your partisanship is what is getting in the way of solving these problems. Not the other way around.

Says the person linking to Ann Coulter.

Right. His sons are in charge. And we know the sons are smart independent business titans. And we all know that Trump has a history of not using charity to fatten his own wallet...

Interesting - the US Attorney for SDNY (Geoffrey Berman) is a Trump supporter and friend of the Kushner family

I wonder if they're reining this sicko in before he falls into the "wrong hands."

I just think a charity golf tournament is a petty thing to criticize Trump about. And I really don't understand your response. I'm not saying what you say is incorrect, just not sure what it has to do with anything.
