I’m not sure what you’re disputing. How would Kemba even have signed with Houston with Chris Paul and his albatross of a contract already there?

Age is going to be a factor here. If Donovan plays out his 2nd contract here he will be age 30 before the season of his 3rd contract begins. For a 6’3” guard that relies on athleticism so much to be quite honest with you he will only have a year or two left where he’s at the top of his game and that’s provided he’s healthy over the next 7 years. There’s subtle things here and there that show it’s a thought he has already. I’ve held the opinion Rudy will ride it out and I think Donovan leaves the first chance he gets. I’d rather I was wrong but I just don’t think so. Idk if it’s the Knicks, could be the Nets, could be something else entirely. The danger of going to the Knicks at that point is completely tarnishing your legacy if things don’t work out.I do think there is a good chance Donovan one day goes to the Knicks. He seems like the kind of guy to go fix them. However, I think it would be way down the road. Like a 3rd or 4th contract thing after he has either...
A - delivered for us with nothing to regret (like Kawhi in Toronto)
or
B - we completely fail him in some way, shape or form.

Because Damian Lillard is not normal. Donovan is still cut from the AAU, be friends with everyone, kid from NYC. I think Donovan’s a great dude, I don’t in any way shape or form think he’s Dame as much as we all want him to be. Dame is just different, completely different. Rudy is closer to Dames mentality than Donovan IMO.Damian was an exception so why can't Donovan?
I wouldn’t bet the house on this.He isn't leaving. His mama won't let him. She does not want him in a big market. And he is a momma's boy. So no way he's leaving for a bigger market.

The athleticism loss thing at that age is not 100% proven. Dwayne Wade played a long career and he never had a 3 pointer or Donovan's potential on defense. I think Donovan could play until 35 quite successfully.Age is going to be a factor here. If Donovan plays out his 2nd contract here he will be age 30 before the season of his 3rd contract begins. NY Knicks aren't really a free agent destination. I'm not seeing it...
At this stage though, Mitchell is more likely to recruit players to Utah than ditch the Jazz.
He might be a jaggoff, the results aren't in yet.Yeah just like Kemba went to his hometown team. Jerkoff.
I say a little prayer every night Dolan does not sell the team....sorry Knicks fans lol.Yeah no $ht Sherlock... That’s why I prefaced it by saying “IF Dolan ever gets his head out of his @$$ and/or sells the team”. They actually remind me of the basketcase the Nets were just a few years ago.

If Donovan leaves, he leaves. I don't see it happening where we are crushed by his leaving because he is too loyal for that. I see him leaving in a way similar to Favors where both sides hug it out and there are no hard feelings.
