What's new

The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

Word on the Street.....

whether it's Gates, Soros, or the Kochs…..there's big money in this election.

I think the Young Turks recruited the new rookie social justice Dem reps.....

And the plan is..… all of the "moderate" Dem reps who've been sitting in safe Dem strongholds.... are going to be primaried this time around, by well-financed new blood social justice dems.

This is a take-down of the Dem party, in preparation for 2024. The new "1984".

In all seriousness, who is the last R presidential candidate that the Democrats haven't called racist?

They cried wolf, and wolf, and wolf, and unfortunately, we finally have a wolf.

It's hard for me to look at people yearning for McCain and Romney, considering how they were attacked when they ran.

In all seriousness, it's amazing to see conservatives more concerned with Democrats calling Republicans racist than actually dealing with the racism in their own party.

Oh, and FWIW charges of racism have been and are still levied at Democratic candidates by Republicans as well, for some reason that tends to be left out of this "crying wolf" narrative.

I don't remember Bush 2 being called a racist. I'm sure the random accusation is out there, but I don't remember it being a significant topic of discussion.

I also don't remember racists loving Bush 2 and being emboldened by his rhetoric.

It is sad that some are like that. I'm not. At the same time, consequences for actions.

I'm not sure who has been called racist on the Dems, tbh...Ohan has been called an anti-Semite, and that doesn't seem far off if we're being honest.

Hillary was accused of starting birtherism, Obama was constantly being accused of being racist against whites.

Ilhan has criticized Israel and AIPAC, not sure who's crying wolf now...

Uhhh...Katrina?
So in that one incident people criticised the response to Katrina suggesting that the ethnicity/race of the people most affected might have been a reason why the response was lacking?

And you want to compare that to the legit racist **** Trump does?

You get that these things are not even close to being in the same league? Or is it all the same to you because you don't think anyone ever deserves to be accused of being a racist?

You're kind of doing that right now by trying to turn the conversation about Trump's racism into a conversation about Democrats "crying wolf."

Uhhh...Katrina?

I'm old enough to remember serious discussions about "colored only" and "white only" establishments. One of my first little paperback political dirges was written by Alan Stang, entitled "It's Very Simple".

The argument proferred was exactly the same one Gameface and others in here have argued.... "If it's your house, it's your rules". "You can run your forum the way you want, because it's yours."

I did this bit in the "Bake My Cake" thread some months... a year?,..... ago.

My answer is, still.... "If it's open to the Public, yah gotta accommodate the Public"

I advance the thesis that political purists hell-bent on purifying the public platforms of unwanted political views, are in the intellectual sense, a kind of "racist" equivalent.

What is the difference between melanin skin content and political opinion content?//

Who gets to decide what the "rules" need to be???? Why should we let prejudices of any kind about other people become walls of separation?

You are 100% right. Bush II was the subject of weeks end on end of political "racism" charges for his failure to effectively address the catastrophe of Katrina.

He was, after, all, one of those blue-blooded globalist world managerial wonks who for all his life went with the flow of "culling the herd". Which has always been front and center the net effect of social progress....globalism. The elites have their own ways of being above it all, but the folks on the edge of survival really have never been any more concern to the globalist elites than....

the homeless along the LA River ditch.

so lets get back to the Impeach Trump bit, then.

The media and all the wonks have yet to show Trump actually thinks "race" is any significant difference in worth or talents. He would have been called "racist" if his wife was Goldie Hawn or Whoopee Goldberg.

Some say Romney and Colton are "racist", what with being Mormons and whatnot. But Democrats call all Republicans "Racist" when there is a market for it, regardless of the content of either their minds, their hearts, or their skins.

I think the word is useless. well, maybe used indiscriminately.....without justification.

I don't know what kinds of "deals" Trump is working out, but it would be absurd to imagine he is not working on "deals".

There is a sort of howling wolfpack.... well, conservatives.....feeding off emerging information from Judicial Watch and all the ongoing bureaucratic "investigations", with some real red meat to chew on.... which is being steadfastly denied coverage in our mainstream media....

But I think Trump does not want the "investigators" investigated, the whole Trump investigation turned upside down to go after the players in the witchhunt.

He has made a deal....

In the months to come, in the run-up to his re-election, most of the old "Establishment" will tone it down, and give him the win. The "crazies", the "social justice dems financed by Soros and others, are going to be schooled.

I don't believe I ever compared them GF. Go back and check.

There's a lot to unpack here. There's plenty of evidence in this thread of Trump's racism, it may not rise to whatever definition of racism you apparently have, but there's not much to be done about that, regardless of how unreasonable I believe it to be.

I don't believe I've ever seen anyone around here call Colton a racist, and I reckon he'd probably rather you not use him to make some sort of point about indiscriminate accusations.

I'm sure some Democrats are guilty of painting with too broad a brush, basically doing to Republicans what you are attempting to do to them here.
