California is steadily marching to $15 per hour minimum wage. Know what's happening here? Jobs are increasing at a huge rate. Unemployment is the lowest it's been in decades. Even while the minimum wage increase every year or 2 in it's inexorable March to 15.

Also this is a disingenuous argument. 15 bucks came from an analysis of where it would be if it had matched economic gains and median wage growth over the past decade. So if minimum wage had matched our economic indicators it would be pretty close to 15 right now.

hypocrisy from the left...surely you jest. Did you see the interview done with college students recently on Fox? The Fox reporter read them a quote by the president that they all had bad things to say about it. Then he showed them the quote was by Obama. LOL The looks and bewilderment were priceless.

July 9, 2010 is what is by my avatar. I just started posting in the general account section and getting raving reviews as you can see, that is why you notice me now. I was not a frequent poster just read most of the time. I have been a Jazz fan since I joined the church 46 years ago. I once gave you a like in the jazz comments section and told you it was given because I agreed so often with you on what you posted about the Jazz. Outside of the Jazz we don't seem to agree about much. Thanks for asking.

Wait, you are a Catholic now? How did that lead you to the Jazz?
 
Both parties are becoming more extreme. The tea party movement took the republicans far to the right, and now the response of Trump is that the dems are going more left.

There is so little news now. It's just commentary. I think there was a slight left slant to the news, but the more the right attacked, and the more brazen Fox became, took CNN and MSNBC farther to the left. Now it's more political theater. And of course the right is always complaining that everyone is against them.

It's also sad to see religious people defend a sick moral clown like Trump. Thankfully I do have a good number of conservative relatives, and friends who don't like him at all.
It's disappointing to see so many stick with him though. Trump really baited his base, and made himself out to be the victim. The base bought into it, and see themselves as victims too.

To sum up we are ****ed.
