Why no thread on the democratic debates?

I will start it off. Noted No American Flag present at this debate. Are they not Patriot enough to provide our symbol of our country and our freedoms we have and enjoy. A sad affair of a debate and questions that gave little insight to any of these folks being ready to assume the highest office of the country. The democrats are losing every time they speak. One word describes the democratic platform FREE.

Hot tip, the flag is just a bunch of cloth. Try living in the U.S. before you worry about what fabric we adorn our debates with. The U.S. happens in the U.S.. Flags or not.
 
Reparations - because we all know how well giving money to one group of people helps everyone get along better.

It all boils down to the Democrats trying to buy votes with working American's money.

I liked this comment: I recently spoke to my closest relatives (14) at a family gathering and everyone responded that any candidate that supports reparations will not get their vote!

Looks like the Democratic Party just lost the votes from 14 hardcore Democrats!
I think Trump, with all his Tweeting and saying what he believes about controversial issues has gained the support of Mainstream America and is easily going to win the election! He has 14 extra votes for sure!

Didn't Bernie just CUT the hours of his slaves (campaign workers) INSTEAD of increasing their wages to the fancy $15/hr...well well well....SO folks this is what will happen across the country at many businesses if this gets imposed.....

Dem presidential candidates use to pretend to love the country, but Trump has them so upset that they stopped pretending and their true colors have been laid bare, they finally admit that they want to transform our country from a constitutional republic to a socialist/communist regime!

Warren open borders no more illegals , Sanders, Medicare for all including illegals, Push 180 Million off private insurance, I guess workers in all those in insurance companies will be without work. All - No plan on how to pay, They could fix the manufactured crisis at the border in 5 minutes I guess that means open borders.. babble talk on gun control and lobbyist were the evil demons to everything they could not explain but no one wanted to get rid of lobbyist.

My ancestors fought to free the slaves from the Democrats.

Now we know why there are still Democrats left in the USA. Every time they say free we heard claps and every time someone said who's paying for it crickets.

Anyone got a new calculator to total the additional national debt all these freebies the Democrats are proposing? I have an older model and it ran out of zeros.

HE GOALS OF THE RADICAL LIBERAL/FASCIST/SOCIALISTS AND THEIR DISREGARD FOR THE LAW AND CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS. Open borders, freebies to buy votes, mob rule, sanctuary cities and rising crime rates. VOTE FOR A LIBERAL, DESTROY YOUR COUNTRY.

1. Illegals 2. No US flags 3. Bankrupt the US. 4. KILL Trump's economic BOOM 5. Hate Trump.

The only takeaway is that the Democrat Party has become the Socialist Party...

Easy there Gameface the mods can't ignore your sins forever. I was born and raised in the good ole United States of America and spent 62 years living there. Forgive me if I don't want it to become a socialist country. It has enough problems to work on already. Waves the American flag!

Makes sense. It is not a debate for you. Your mind has been made up a long time ago. There is nothing any of them could say that would convince you to vote democrat. There is no facts they could provide that you would believe. The only information you look for is stuff that confirms your opinions.

When is the last time you voted for a democrat? Have you ever?

I think I might have when I was young and didn't understand much, but since I found out that smelly Walmart shoppers were republicans and I shopped Walmart frequently I started voting straight republican. Tell me again Ron what type of woman you would like to date.

I'm a veteran. I have medals for being part of the expeditionary force in the Global War on Terrorism, as well as for my service in Operation Iraqi Freedom. I have a good conduct medal, a sea service ribbon, I'm sure there's a few more that I also don't really think define me.

Yeah, flags are made of cloth. I didn't fight for a flag, I fought for my nation.

No, if you did that I salute you, but can I believe you? You said you would not post here anymore. Yes, I put great stock in someone keeping their word. Also, from what I have read for years most servicemen got really pissed when pro-football players disrespected our national anthem, and it is only music.
 
What matters to me is the time I went on a 3 day underway. Just off the coast of San Diego. That's what I remember. It was supposed to be 3 days.

I had an infant son. We were supposed to pull back into port on a Wednesday. As we moved back towards San Diego we were told one thing, then another, finally we were told we would not be pulling into port. Not to get into Navy business, but we could see San Diego Bay. It was right there. We couldn't go home, but we could see home.

We were in cell phone range. This is before "smartphones" but we could make calls.

I made a call, to my wife. I called her on Thursday. The day after we were supposed to be home. She told me my child started walking that day.

Tell me what the flag is. You tell me what the flag means to you. You tell me what you lost to serve that flag.

I don't want a salute from someone not qualified to give one. That's disgusting to me. Don't play soldier. People actually die serving this nation, they don't need you mocking their service.

Exactly people died serving this nation, and the servicemen I know love the flag and national anthem. What is your problem?

I know my story is lame.

People have lost their lives. People have lost parts of their body. People have watched their friends die. People have come home to find out they don't have a family anymore. I know my story is lame. I know I have given very little. I know I have gotten more than I gave.

But I'm not going to be lectured about a piece of cloth by someone who has given NOTHING.

I hope anyone reading this who has sacrificed FAR more than I have understands my respect for what you've done, for your family, for your command, for your loyalty to service.

We may have different political opinions, but I don't want to be mocked by someone who has done NOTHING.
