Why no thread on the democratic debates?

I will start it off. Noted No American Flag present at this debate. Are they not Patriot enough to provide our symbol of our country and our freedoms we have and enjoy. A sad affair of a debate and questions that gave little insight to any of these folks being ready to assume the highest office of the country. The democrats are losing every time they speak. One word describes the democratic platform FREE.

oh yes first thing republicans always do is question others patriotism. They think they are the true Americans and anyone against them is obviously anti-American. doh!

Would you rather have the insight trump gave us? Questioning others manhood, and insulting people? You cant even come to the table if you are proud of that idiot in charge now.

No, that are different. Dutch was more libertarian. Jazzrule is hardcore Christan right.

I think you’re right. Maybe Dutch’s experiences with the Muslims and Africans taking over Europe has made him less tolerant and he’s turned. Wouldn’t put it past him.

My oldest who’s only 4 is so America! Rah rah rah! Look at that flag! America! America! I’m like wtf???? My wife doesn’t promote that at all though she did hang up a US flag for the first time in front of our house a month ago. I’m never pro-America as I grew up with a father who was in Vietnam and is still pretty jaded and untrusting of our government, and of course wise enough to see through ******** propaganda and the like. I don’t get it. No idea where my daughter got it from. They must indoctrinate her at daycare I guess.

I don’t recall jazzrule til post-Dutch...the last couple months really. And don’t sound the same at all? I beg to differ. The only main difference is this one types in better English. Could be Dutch is just trying harder though.
DutchJazzer was a proud Jew. jazzrule claims to be Mormon, which I don't see DutchJazzer claiming to be.

Actually Colton typically votes Republican, gameface votes Republican and Democrat with about the same frequency, I voted for Romney for Senate the last time I voted and have only voted Democrat for president once in my life.

To name a few.
Jazzta is another who hates Trump and is not a Democrat.

I don't think wes is a democrat. Hates Trump though.

Stoked is another.

Then you have yourself, npc, heathme, jazzrule and others who most likely only vote Republican.

Most of us just think Trump is a piece of ****. Has nothing to do with Republicans. If he were a Democrat most of us would still think he is a piece of ****

@DasJazz

I just wanted clear something up and this is as good a thread as any.

I think that posters like jazzrule, heathme, DasJazz, npc think that there are all these liberal democrats in general discussion that they are always defending themselves against.

That's incorrect. Those you are defending yourselves against are from all walks of life. Different financial status, different religious beliefs, different political leanings, different morals, different stances on things like immigration abortion gun rights etc, support different political parties (or none at all).

What we have in common is the ability to recognize a piece of **** human being, we dislike piece of **** human beings, and we don't like having a piece of **** human being as our president. Other than that we are very different individuals. We aren't all lefty conservative liberals. Not even close.

0 of your own thoughts. That's why religion is perfect for you.
I know it is a tangent, but this comment raised my hackles. So, I wanted to voice that in my experience the most religious people are those who have put the greatest energy of thought into their beliefs.

I do concede that it is easy to follow a religion without putting much thought into it, and a TON of people do so. That being said, I believe it can take as little or even less effort/thought to not be religious (I am not saying all non-religious people don't put thought into it, just that a TON don't).

They had a pretty robust singing of "America the Beautiful" at the start of the debate. I wouldn't worry about them being unpatriotic.

All I know is that the Hippy Chick is going to win. Once she gets the Oprah endorsement, this will be over.

And I don't even think I am kidding that much. . .
Could you imagine a presidential campaign between Trump and Williamson? Oh my lord. Please let it stop.

I personally think that the DNC is handling this terribly. I think that the debates have been softball pandering to their base and not reaching out well to republicans or independents.

If I were ANY of the lower polling candidates who have been shut out of the third debate, I’d go to Fox News and organize a townhall/debate with anyone who wanted to join me. There’s zero downside in doing that for them IMO. I could see a moderate candidate getting some recognition and traction from that and then parleying that into some primary success.

Ya if there was any Republican besides Trump running for president in the next election I would probably vote for them.

I just look at it as I think Williamson is the only one of the top candidates that doesn't actively hate me or others. And the place where she is coming from makes it hard to attack her, which no one will because they don't take her seriously. She curbed stomped people in that debate, probably without even realizing it. If she is actually cold and calculating and that was an act, she will probably be President.
