Who doesn't want to tune in to see a Mitchell-Fox backcourt? That is good basketball. . .
It is just strange how you guys can't see Rudy's limitations which were on full display in Rockets series. I love Rudy, he is one of my favorite players, yet I expect him to improve his post up game and midrange game and FT shooting before I would be completely happy with him. Now you all attacking me like I am committing some kind of act of blasphemy by actually pointing to his flaws.
Do you all honestly think Rudy is a perfect center and has nothing to improve in his game?
Wow Brock Motum, Mitch Creek and Deng Adel all missed the Boomers squad for the tournament.
Hey, I was talking Jazz Houston series , not all playoffs. Capela outplayed Rudy in that series - and he is not even top 10 center.Yep, both years gobert was better statistically than capela in the playoffs.

Capela: 12.7 points per game. 11.6 rebounds. 2.1 blocks. 66% from the field
Rudy: 13.2. 10.7. 2.3. 66%.
Close but I give the edge to the all NBA DPOY

I was never calling AK perfect player either. He had amazing talent but lacked killer instinct and desire to be the best. Even when Malone was telling him how to destroy opposing players he said he did not like it and wanted just to outplay them.I’m baffled how you’re (MVP) making these arguments against Gobert while also making vehement arguments for AK. The funny thing is is that, mentally, AD, Cousins, and KAT all have a lot of similar psyches to AK.

These two tweets seem somewhat contradictory.

Believe it or not, there is an entire universe to basketball that doesn't involve step-back threes, dream-shakes, or being the fastest player on the court, and Rudy has mastered that universe of fundamental things and it opens up the game for everyone that can shoot a basketball.
Doesn't have an offensive move? A dunk is a move as much as anything else. He is pretty good at thoseMastered? The guy doesn’t have one offensive move. He shot 63.6% from the line. He’s hardly mastered all fundamentals. And I guess one might not consider those things fundamentals but hitting a free throw and having ONE offensive move are basics in basketball in imo.
But how many times does he set himself up for it? I love me some Rudy but he does not have a single post move where you can just toss the ball down to him and let him create. If he's ever going to take that next step he needs to develop something.Doesn't have an offensive move? A dunk is a move as much as anything else. He is pretty good at those
