El Paso Shooting

And?

Please tell me what was wrong about my post? Specifically, tell me what triggered you? You don’t think trump’s racist rhetoric influenced the shooter at all? Did you even read his manifesto?
I was just providing the proof in which fishing said didn't exist. You just admitted you blame Trump so with all due respect fishon, I told you so.

I refuse to get into your childish everythings racist garbage. Sorry

I was with my boss the other day, our VP. We went to lunch. He drove and we were in his somewhat older beat up truck. Oh yeah, and he's black. So we went to this Baker's and parked on the street a bit down the road from the place because it was busy. It was Friday and we were both in casual clothes, he was in a plain t-shirt and jeans. We walked by 3 cops who had probably just been there for lunch. He was ahead of me a bit because I took a phone call. They stopped him and were talking to him. I saw him give them his license. I caught up when they handed it back. We walked on but I could feel everything was very tense. I had noticed 2 of the cops had their hands on their tasers, maybe guns but I thought it was their tasers. As I walked by I just said "hi officers" and they said hi and we moved on. He said they stopped him, asked why he parked where he did. Wanted to see his ID. It was surreal for me. It was all too real for him. He said he gets stopped a few times a month for stuff like that. One of the cops was also black, one Hispanic, the other white.

As a white man I never get stopped.

This is a huge issue that needs to be fixed.

Seems to me he's saying Trump is the reason these people are dead. You said nobody said such thing.
He didn't say Trump is the reason those people are dead.
This is what he said:He even used trump’s language, traveling to El Paso (where trump recently visited and complained about an invasion) and wrote a manifesto claiming to be fighting against an “invasion of Hispanics.” He fought this invasion by killing innocents in a damn Walmart

He just stated some facts. No where does he say Trump is the reason those people are dead. You could say that he is insinuating that Trump had some influence on the shooter. That's just an opinion though. And one that I agree with.
All thriller did in that post you quoted is state some facts though. Never said Trump is the reason the people were killed.

You see what you want to see I guess.

"Does anyone here think Trump has NOT emboldened these shooters? He is tearing our country apart."

So you admit that people are blaming Trump... How are you not?
Blaming Trump for what? Emboldening people? Ya I think what he says and does has influence on people. You don't?

It's an opinion...

Anyways this is pointless. My point is that both sides are responsible for the way **** is. If we're going to blame Trump on El Paso, then let's blame all this anti law enforcement rhetoric and actions on the left. Neith side is innocent here and if you disagree then let's agree to disagree. No use talking in circles.

Personally I blame the people doing the acts not outside forces. Nobody is forcing or encouraging violence.

It's not opinion.
This is what you quoted
He even used trump’s language, traveling to El Paso (where trump recently visited and complained about an invasion) and wrote a manifesto claiming to be fighting against an “invasion of Hispanics.” He fought this invasion by killing innocents in a damn Walmart

What part of that is opinion?

And we all blame the shooter silly. Of course we do, he pulled the trigger.

I think it's fair to say Trump could have had some influence on him though due to Trump and the shooter using the same language and the timing of the shootings. That last sentence is opinion (you can tell because I used the words "I think")

He also insinuated he chose that spot due to there being no guns. Should we blame anti-gun folks?

No

What I said doesn’t provide you with the proof you want. I clearly didn’t say what you wanted me to say. Nor has anyone else interpreted my post the way you supposedly did.

At this point Jazzy, you’re just yelling at clouds. You’re literally the only person on this board who has interpreted things the way you have. At least 5 posters today have corrected you and yet you still insist that you’re right.

In my opinion, you know that you’ve made outlandish arguments and you know I didn’t say what you claim I said. But you don’t want to admit it so you’re trying to save face by continuing to argue. This conversation is over.

Have fun with yourself.

No
The anti gun folks aren't the reason there were few guns in that location though so it doesn't really work. It being a grocery store is the reason. Not cause of gun restrictions put in place by anti gun folks.

It was a grocery store in a state that is as pro gun as it gets silly.

And again. No one blamed Trump for those people dying so why would anyone blame anti gun people for those people dying from gunshot wounds lol.

Lol at least 5 posters? Why lie?

That’s ****ing God awful and why people haven’t a ****ing clue as to what it’s like to be black in America.

Imagine being black and seeing the news and how many innocent blacks are shot and killed by cops for absurd reasons. Then imagine at the same time having **** like that happen to you, not even necessarily once a month like Log said, but once every 3-4 months. The thoughts lingering, eating away at your fiber as a being, your humanity like a cancer eating away at any love in your heart and filling it with angst. And having that happen for a year or two. A decade or two. Every 3-4 months. Over and over. That **** destroys a soul.

Don't tell hack. He thinks cops treat black people the same as white people.

Trump's SS. He's emboldening this kind of behavior from police, but it really got worse starting with the Patriot Act. Police don't operate under "To Protect And Serve" anymore. There are a ton of good cops still but there are a lot more bad cops than there used to be. I've interacted with police enough to know that 1/4 of my interactions with police have been with douchebags who aren't fit to wear the badge.

Good post.

Yet, a certain demographic of our population would label you a social justice warrior or anti cops for daring to admit that there’s ever been an inequality in the treatment of blacks in our country. Heck, this demographic gets triggered when a handful of black athletes take knees before football games to protest their inequality.

I think a big part of our problems could be resolved with empathy. Would white people like to be treated like criminals? So why treat blacks that way?
