It is right now lol, and he certainly tries to make it seem that way between him and the fanbase. Obviously it’s not a direct comparison or perfect analogy, but most aren’t. It’s like someone you know that your wife always liked and talked to, then she leaves you and never actually wanted to be with you in the first place even though she sure acted like she did. Saying I don’t need a big market to be happy,I love you, etc. etc. Aside from a championship I think one of the biggest things Donovan can do for the franchise is make a statement and stay when he has the choice to leave. I guess I do have faith in Rudy sticking around, but Rudy staying isn’t going to be seen as the same affect. It would help the franchise to see a star like him not just want out the second he has the choice. Again, what’s the bet?That’s the problem, though — this isn’t a marriage.
