What kind of stat like from gobert?

****ing refs screwed LT on that one. Rudy hit the rim badly there, should have been be 2pts for LT. Crazy that FIBA does not use instant reply on situations like that.

If it is goaltend on FT it is considered live ball and counts as 2 pts.

I read the rules differently:
31.3 Penalty
31.3.1
If the violation is committed by an offensive player, no points can be awarded. The ball shall be awarded to the opponents for a throw-in from the free-throw line extended, unless otherwise stated in these rules.
31.3.2 If the violation is committed by a defensive player, the offensive team is awarded:
•1 point, if the ball was released for a free throw.
•2 points, if the ball was released from the 2-point field goal area.
•3 points, if the ball was released from the 3-point field goal area.
The awarding of the points is considered as if the ball had entered the basket.

But I guess since the ball has touched the ring, it's no longer really a free throw.

IINM, USA has pretty much clinched first place in their 2nd round group, if what I found re: tiebreakers is correct. There could be a 3-way tie if US loses to Brazil and Czech Republic defeats Greece. Or a two-way tie if Brazil wins and Czech Rep loses. However, the tiebreaker doesn't include head-to-head. The first tiebreaker is Point Differential and US is comfortably ahead. US is +91, Brazil is -2 and Czech Republic is +29 right now.

The results of the second-round games will be added to each team's record from the first round. At that point, the top two sides from each group will advance to the knockout phase, where they'll be three wins away from World Cup glory.

The seeds will be based on win-loss records, with the following tiebreakers used when needed:

1. Better point differential.
2. Higher number of points scored overall.
3. If the teams are still tied, a draw will determine which team advances.

Meanwhile, the teams that don't reach the knockout phase will be slotted between ninth and 16th place based on the above tiebreaker formula.

Looks like USA will play the loser of France/Australia in the quarterfinals.
