How is The Thriller not hateful to the right, republicans and conservatives. Hate is the key word.

I don’t make these statements about anyone else. I’m clearly the outlier. That by itself is cause for reflection. At the least. How can it not be if anyone attempts any level of intellectual honesty?

But my evidence is his post history by itself. Constant anti right, and trump, spamming. 24/7. Advocating financial hardship for “trumpers” to teach them a lesson. Calling Bush a demagogue. Calling 10s of millions of Americans racist and sexist... go read it. Literally, it’s all there.

Again. I openly admit. I’m the extreme outlier here. No one else has this stance, at least not openly. Only me. So what the ****? It has to be me right?

So gauntlet thrown. I’m listening. And will honestly try to do my best to be open and thoughtful.

Hate is indeed the key word. It means "feel intense or passionate dislike", apparently. The Thriller is certainly passionate, as his voluminous posting and willingness to defend every word of it shows, and he does express a strong dislike. So I agree that he hates "the right", and certain politicians on the right.

The more interesting question is whether, and to what degree, his hate is misplaced, wrongly aimed, or unfair.

I think he is hateful to the right. I think he might even admit that.
In the other thread though you compared him to Dutch and heathme. That's where you went off the rails and were completely wrong. Those two are hateful, hyperbolic, deceitful, full of ****, and stupid. Which is way worse than just hateful.

The question is, do the politicians and people he shows hate towards deserve hate? I think that mostly the answer is yes.

Also I think this word hate is more complicated.
Like I'm pretty sure that thriller is smart enough and sane enough to know that there are plenty of people on the right who are good parents, who are kind, who are generous and mostly good people.
I think he mostly hates the politics and politicians of the right as he sees them as often times immoral, unethical, hurtful and hateful.

Yep him saying that was wrong. I think we all make mistakes and say things that are wrong. I don't think that one comment totally encapsulates thriller and all of his posts though. He has many posts that are spot on.

I think he things some of the things you post and believe are alt right.
I don't think he thinks you rape and murder and kick puppies though. I think he probably understands that you can think and believe things he sees as wrong yet still do good things too.

I think it's completely fair to say that Thriller expresses hate for Republican politics and Conservative ideology. I also don't think there's anything really wrong with that.

I think it's silly to paint the world with the big crayons and see all conservatism as horrible and liberalism as the fight for truth, justice and all that is good. And I think Thriller does that a lot of the time. So silly points to Thriller on that one.

But as OB pointed out, if you challenge what he says he will engage in an honest exchange regarding his position. That's getting less and less common and it's something the Heathme, NPC, Jazzrule and Eenie-Meenie will not do, not at all. They will at best deflect by claiming that liberals also do the horrible things their favorite politicians do. That is the most sophisticated argument you'll get out of them.

This. I finally put him on ignore and reported him for harassment due to him constantly referencing me in thread I was not participating in so he could have another Target to lump in with his hatefulness, regardless of what was being said. I've said it before and I stand by it, that "educators" like that, informing the minds of the younger generations, are contributing hugely to the problems of divisiveness and intolerance in our country. I legitimately feel concern that young people will take any of that as a viable stance on political discussion in America today. A clear example of how intolerant the "tolerant" left has become. A mirror image, and just as damaging imo, to Trump and his ilk.
