What's new

2020 Presidential election

I don't think there's a chance in hell to amend the constitution if it even sort of seems like it benefits one "side" over the other.

So I think some of the current candidates are still in the race to angle for a VP spot.

If you were Biden, Warren and Sanders, who would you want as your VP? Doesn't have to be one of the Presidential candidates.

OMG doesn't anyone read on this ****ing site anymore?

Where did I say that's not the case now? Where did I say I'm for the status quo? What I'm saying is if you eliminate the electoral college completely you'll go from campaigning in about a dozen battleground states to campaigning in about four states - California, Florida, Texas and New York
If you say, "If X then Y," then you're implying "If not-X, then not-Y." I mean, unless you specifically say otherwise. It's kind of simple.

You keep pushing this and I think you're wrong, and since I generally like your posts it gets under my skin to hear you say this over and over.

You don't have to take Trump on on his terms. You don't have to be some big strong charismatic guy to stand toe to toe with him. You're giving him credit he doesn't deserve. He is none of the things you seem to ascribe to him. He's the emperor who has no clothes... it's his supporters who imagine the clothes onto him. It's his supporters who define his strengths, which are largely a ****ing illusion.

Warren is going to do really well in the general. Warren is going to be the next President.

I'll take any number of $20 bets people want to throw my way. Warren is going to be our next President.

I want to bet.

Pretty sad that Warren is the Dems best shot. She has no chance.

Here's a question, how many cities do gubernatorial candidates visit in their states when running? Do they only campaign in their states most populated areas?

Utah's current Lieutenant Governor, who is running for Governor, is visiting every town in Utah this year (248 in total). As of August 26, he had been to 109. He has the name of all of them on the side of his tour bus and adds stickers to the ones he had visited.

“One of my regrets is I didn’t do this sooner,” Cox said. “As fun as it is to go around and campaign, about 70% of the conversations I have aren’t really about the campaign but issues that need to be worked on now. (People in some of these rural towns) never had someone to share these concerns with.”

And an added bonus - he is a huge Jazz fan.

Y’all think it’s obnoxiously smothering now? Just wait till Trump is voted out of office in favor of a D in 2020.

But spitting into the ocean makes a difference!

Who all thinks what's obnoxiously smothering?
