Given our system, the coaches tutelage, and Rudy as an example. I can't see why we shouldn't be optimistic on this guy.

How many, unathletic, non floor spacers, who don't pass well out of the high post, do anything in the NBA. Not sure what his skill is that is enabling him to stay in the NBA.

He doesn’t jump high. That doesn’t mean he isn’t athletic.

I mean Kanter openly asked to be traded, Trey was here for three years and wanted out, Trey Lyles might still be here if Denver hadn't given us DM... second rounders... really? Hood had to ask for a trade too... We waited on the Ricky, Favs, Rudy combo for about a year more than we should have. We err on the side of patience... it can be good and bad.

I'm not hating on either guy, but we should not put Bradley and Rudy in the same sentence... Picking up Bradley's option was a given if he was on the roster this year. He did enough to make the roster... lets see what he does this year.

In preseason (I know) he was a double-double machine. I'm not saying he is the next Rudy or anything, but having him as a 3rd string center isn't bad at all.

I think in a lot of those cases the Jazz decided that they were done with the player before the player "demanded a trade." They really haven't been shy about moving on without a player that isn't fitting in with their "moneyball" equation. Sometimes they keep a player longer than they should until they find the piece that fits better. They don't trade for pieces that are lateral options. I really think that there is a role that is integral to their vision that Exum and Bradley fill.

I do think that they may view Muiday as a replacement for that Exum role, however.
 
I think Lindsay errs on the side of patience hoping some of these young guys mature. Burke had great potential, so did Kanter and Lyles. I think that's what is most frustrating with players coming out so early. While there's certainly no guarantee a player who stays in college for 4 years is more mature than a 1-and-done (look at Donovan, for example), I think it's less of a risk. And often, teams have to decide to offer these players their second contracts before they really know if they'll be worth it.

Yeah, because you have totally given Bradley an assessment based on the 10 games you have watched him play. You cant tell me that what he has shown so far couldnt be viewed as him getting better and better.

Ummm, he's been around for what 3 - 4 years? It's not like there are only 10 games of evidence. Resigning him doesn't matter hardly at all in the long run but drafting him in the first place was moronic.
