What's new

Bucks @ Jazz 7:00pm(MST)

Bojan sure has a unique game. Reminds me a little bit of a young Wally World.
He’s playing much better than Wally ever did, though. He had good numbers and one season just barely hit 20 ppg, but he was playing nearly 40 minutes per game.

Sure. Bojan is bigger. Although Wally played in a different era so it’s difficult to say that Wally wouldn’t be averaging more than 20 pts per game now. It’s hard to compare today’s game with the late 90s and early 2000s. The pace and 3 point shooting attempts are so different now.

Wally never averaged more than 3.5 3 pt shooting attempts per game in a season. Bojan has only had one year where he shot less than 3.5 3s. This year he’s shooting over 6.

The Jazz offense today shoots more 3s in one quarter than the S2M team did for entire games.

Alright, I thought we might have at worst split these 2 last games against Philly and Milwaukee. But the team dug deep for these wins.

I'm not going to criticize the team for the second half performance, but I actually think it's better that we win this way, to grit and tough it out. This is how it's going to be in the playoffs.

Proud of our Jazz.
I completely agree. For all the bitching about Utah throwing this game away in the second half, it's good to remember that the Bucks are a great ****ing team. They weren't going to lay down, especially as it got close down the stretch.

Blowouts are nice, but I'd rather the Jazz take a haymaker from a contender and stand tall to get the win than blow out a team that gives up in the final quarter, even if that means they made some mistakes along the way.

Lol snyder in the background jumps right up out of his chair and tries to act cool lmao.

Two thoughts from tonight:

1. When I realized Korver was coming in to a tied game with 2.2 seconds, I got last year’s game 2 Jerebko tip-in flashback feeling.

2. For quite a while it seems like we rarely, if ever, close out a game when it comes down to a final shot. It may just seem that way to me. Joe Johnson LAC being a huge exception. I think it’s been since the Deron era that I’ve had confidence we could walk off with a win (Gaines?). Tonight I was just waiting to take it to OT to win. But then Bojan said “**** that. We’re done.”

Maybe. I just love him so much. You can tell he loves the system and that Quin knows how to use him.

Gets hit in the eye and swaps out his contacts like a boss and gets both free throws. Then buries the game winner.
The Great Imam.

“I AM that Imam.”

This! As great as Donovan is, he hasn't been great taking game tying/winning shots at the end of games. I was 100% sure we were going to miss at the buzzer and head to overtime.
