Tonight we learn whether or not the Wolves played defense Monday it if Utah just missed shots.
I'm guessing the Jazz make an adjustment and have Rudy guard Graham instead of Towns. Rudy is worthless on the perimeter so this will allow him to play way off of Graham and be able to help protect the paint still. We were effective getting to the paint without Rudy there to protect it and I'm guessing the Jazz wont let that happen again

which will happen more often than not, they need to get second chances and play decent defense. It goes without saying they need to make the freebies. If other teams take away Towns they really can’t score.
The Jazz just gave the league a blueprint as to how to beat the Wolves. Unless every team gets to clone Rudy Gobert I'm not sure how their blueprint applies to other teams.

Not good entertainment tonight.
Bogdanovic is the big difference between these teams. We sorely need a 3PT sniper.
Saunders getting badly outcoached lost us this game.
Snyder had a very specific game plan to limit touches for kat. Saunders did not adjust at all.
I just flat out do not want teague out there with towns and Wiggins. Nobody should be taking the ball out of their hands. Both of them, more so Wiggins as of late, know how to collapse the defense and get others open. Teague dribbling around and taking a contested shot at the rim while Wiggins and towns don't touch the ball makes the team 100% worse. The ball should go through one of towns or Wiggins if not both every time.
Why are we such a choke job at home but brilliant on the road?
Can blame the home crowd, the music, something I guess. It's a good question and someone hopefully figures it out.
Snyder had basically 2 jazz players on KAt and 2 on Wiggs.
Their job was to chase Kat off the line and limit wiggs' attacks at the rim. They were begging for the other 3 players on the court to try and beat them.
I have a tough time figuring out who our 3rd option is at this point.
Observations from Target Center
- that place was empty at the start of the game. Filled in a little bit as the game went on, but still only ~2/3 full, at best. If this is normal, I understand why the team has been coming out a bit flat at home this year.
- wow, that was a lot of free throws in the first quarter. Just the thing to ramp up the energy in the building.
- Gobert is really good. Utah’s defense becomes pretty average when he sits.
- Wiggins looked like the only player who could do anything on offense, tonight.
- I would have liked to see some clear outs for KAT. Gobert was playing him far out and I think Karl could have drove on him more, but it seemed like there was often another Wolve in the way.
- I’d also like to see KAT occasionally slip the screen on p’n’rs with Wiggins if teams are going to sell out on defending the 3.
- I really want to like Teague, but then I see him play.
- WTF Bogdonavich.
- the lady in front of us took A LOT of selfies. Seriously, I think she hit triple digits.
Have your team work on free throw shooting that's the #1 thing that needs to change if the wolves wanna be a playoff team .. Can't leave 10-15 points a night out there

Good back and forth game, but you arent going to win NBA games shooting 31% from 3 and 51% from the free throw line. Poor transition defense down the stretch. A good learning experience to build on I suppose.
They have no chance of winning if Towns only gets 10 shots and scores 14 points.
