I'm on board with this. If Exum can't get quality minutes in the next month, we gotta move on. Mudiay is exceeding expectations and Conley isn't going anywhere.

We could use more quality front court depth. Maybe something like Exum and a throw in salary for Taj Gibson and Frank Nkilitina. The Knicks might be willing to gamble on Exum's upside while Taj and Frank are unnecessary going forward.

Placing a ball dominant small guard next to DM simply ain't gonna work. Pop showed us that with Kemba in the summer. DM simply needs the ball in his hand and 6'8 shooting SFs as his partners on the wing.

I might be in the minority, but I would rather trade Royce and Exum for Luka Doncic. Alternatively, that Giannis guy from last night seems like he might have a future.

I’m in the **** or get off the pot camp as far as Exum is concerned. Give him minutes and let him develop. Or ship him off. His numbers in December before he got hurt were very promising. He had a game with 13 assists. Running the offense was becoming easier for him. So it’s hard to understand why he stands in the corner all the time. He was our best guard for throwing lobs to Favors. You’d have to think he could find some success with Green, Bradley and Gobert. I’m just puzzled as to why invest so much time and money in him. When he is on the floor he seldom touches the ball. Put him in a position to succeed or cut bait.

The problem is that his time to develop was when we were a rising team, not now when we are in win now mode. The question isn't if he could find some success in the rotation, it is if he would be better than the players who are ahead of him. At this point all the players ahead of him are better at winning, so if he wants to be in the rotation he is going to have to wait for an injury (which always come). The fact that Jazz put time, money and resources into developing Exum doesn't matter (sunk costs). Also, he has been injury prone, so why rush him back into action.

As for why Jazz don't trade him, it is because nobody wants him. He is clearly a negative value contract, so to get rid of him now we would have to give up an asset or be willing to take on some other negative value contract. He isn't really going to drop in value, so might as well see if at some point his value can come up a little.

I just don't understand it, to me quin doesn't know how to coach him, it's been 5 yrs.
He needs to move on and get a opportunity somewhere else, as it want happen in Utah.
Dantes upside won't happen under quin
