Killer posts. This brings home how desperately the Jazz need to acquire more legitimate rotation players.

A big issue with our bench is that we have so many guys who only really provide one positive skill.

Niang is only a shooter
Green is only really a shooter
Davis rebounding/defense
Mudiay, scoring
Exum, defense

We need more versatility from the bench unit
Agreed with the exception of green. He seems pretty good at posting up smaller dudes and at finishing at the rim, especially in transition

Get Bertans. A 6’10 standard sized PF who also happens to be the league's most deadly catch and shoot assassin.

Him pairing with Bojan will space the floor like crazy. He is also an one year expiring with Wizards unlikely to spend the big bucks to keep him.

Is there a player out there that constantly moves well without the basketball that is possible for us to get? I feel like that would help a ton. We need to kill this tendency we have where guys just stand around on offense. Quin doesn't seem to get mad enough about it. So adding a player who can be an example to the others might be the only way.

You're talking about guys like Korver, Klay Thompson and JJ Redick....maybe Buddy Hield fits that description.

I'm not a big Mudiay fan. I think he's erratic. Maybe that's what makes him unique, but he seems almost impossible for guys to play with. He doesn't play in pick-and-roll, he's still reluctant to shoot 3s--he's basically a drive and kick player who isn't terribly difficult for teams to defend.

we need a PF and we need an off-ball shooter, and here's the guy:

imagine having him matching up with someone like AD. AD will kill him offensively but he will equally make AD work on the other end.

Why would they trade him though? And why would they trade him for anything we could offer?
