2020 NBA trade deadline discussion

Interesting. He usually doesn't throw names out like that. How is his Athletic podcast? I haven't listened to it.

For reals? Hot damn that’d be a DL Christmas miracle! You could reasonably say that Exum lived up to his potential.

Its a good podcast, he prefaced it by saying it was what he would do and that he has no inside knowledge of this move being made. So with that id pencil it in as a done deal. Now if we can just sign Favors off waivers...

That sounds like TJ being intoxicated on FO flatulence where he’s overestimating Exum’s value. I’m really hoping Exum lands in NY so Tony is forced to consciously, if only privately, admit to himself that Exum isn’t all those things he’s been reassuring Jazz twitter he may be.

FWIW Tony wasn't just suggesting Exum for Reddick straight up. He said he would offer Exum and a future first round pick.

With a future lottery protected first round pick as well. Was what was suggested. I wouldn't wish the Knicks on anyone you should have a good hard look at yourself.

Ah. Yeah, JJ helps us, but not that much.

Tony Jones is basically just a jazz pr man these days, accepts anything the front office provides, doesn't press the coaches on their inconsistencies (what they say vs what they do) and can't even provide updates on simple things like injuries.

lol are you one of the dumbarses he regularly slaps down on twitter ?

I like JJ. We're in desperate need of bench help. But I have no interest in giving up more picks. So I wouldn't be down. We have to find other ways.

I wonder, could we trade Niang for Christian Wood? IMO he is the guy we need on roster! He is young, cheap contract, he can score and good rebounder!
