DANTE TRADED TO CAVS

The Jazz should have done this long before they ****ed up on the Conley trade and his top 10 contract. Lmfao. Idiots still defend it too

You know this trade was available?

And we should’ve done what so far as the point guard position goes? Are there fringe all-star point guards growing on trees we could have acquired if not Conley?

Clarkson gets buckets, I'll take it. Here's to a successful jazz career! Exum keeps some integrity and gets a fresh start so do the Jazz.

2 things to add.

We might not have to see Niang regularly now with Clarkson joining and Mike to come back.

And secondly, I like that all of this was handled behind close doors and nobody went public with it, and everyone, the Jazz and Dante kept their integrity. I think a meeting or meetings took place between Ex and his management, and the Jazz about his role. The Jazz could not guarantee him the unencumbered 20-25 minutes per game that Locke spoke about, and here we are.

Just like Mudiay don't expect this guy to come out and make others around him better. They are both here to shoot the ball and score

I’m not sure how Clarkson fits with Mudiay and the second unit. Maybe that’s why they wanted to get Tucker in to have some athletes in the second unit? I think he’s another bench piece that might be an odd fit but I think he’s a better quality piece. I’m not sure what to expect... that said...

Im truly happy to be out of the Dante business.

Locke was pimping Clarkson at some point in the last year or two. FWIW.
Think he compared him to a poor mans George Hill once...

He puts up numbers... he’s improved... Seems like every player that came out of the knucklehead Lakers has been better when they left. I just think he’s like a better version of what Mudiay gives us and not sure how well it meshes. We

My favorite part of this trade is the remaining refugees on Exum island making excuses for him and blaming Snyder for his lack of development. Andy Bailey, Dan Clayton, etc.

Here is a thought... maybe he’s not good... maybe Snyder knew it... maybe he isn’t in some doghouse and other guys were better than him. I mean Clarkson might have scored more in one game than Dante has all year.

With all the development we've seen from players on the Jazz over the last few years, it's really amazing to see people dump Exum's lack thereof on the coaches' door step.

outside of his expiring contract, i don't think clarkson would do much to this current roster. we already got enough players who are good at nothing besides ball-hogging/chucking. we need guys who provide energy/hustle/length. we are not really a better team after these moves. could be worse after losing a legit 6'8 forward in green.
