cmon wizards. don't let this jazz team score 120+
Good offense so far but you'll see very quickly how different the defense is with these guys coming back. I think you have to take IT out of the rotation, you can't have Beal and IT at the same time doing nothing.
The Jazz haven't lost a game since they got Jordan Clarkson. 8-0 since December 23rd.
Beal’s refusal to close out on Mudiay is killing me lol
actually really stoked to watch this game. i know there's football on but we're playing one of the top teams in the west, currently second fewest losses in the west (12), and we get Beal and Bryant back.
For a dpoy, gobert sure can't defend wizards dunks.
Bertans is being guarded like Curry, no room to breathe
Jazz coach looks like a disgruntled office worker who loss money on the stock exchange.
wish we could have kept bojan but would've been so expensive
How tf are we 15 up
The offense is blasting on all cylinders, once Mahimmi hits a 3 THATS when ya know lol
holy **** this is so fun to watch
Washington can/should win this game.
Ingles been killing this game.
really?! this team just left ingles wide open?
We had nothing for Gobert once the Jazz started getting him involved.
Kinda glad there’s no center like Gobert in the Eastern conference (other than Embiid and maybe Drummond).. I’m not even sure how we would go about finding a frontcourt player to matchup with him
Rudi's more long than strong
So a stronger big man can muscle him. Also a real quick, active center gives him problems. Interested to see how Wagner would do.
Rudi's a lot stronger than you are giving him credit for and the Wizards certainly don't have anybody that can muscle him.
Or Utah's offense just got off to a slow start with Conley and Mitchell out.
Utah, a well coached smart team, figured it out. The Wizards aren’t close to being there. Man, how I wish we had Quin Snyder as our coach.
Utah doesn’t have anything on offense that can expose our PnR D (since Mitchell/Conley are out they have no PnR play) and they are a slow-paced team so can’t really expose our poor transition D.
They’ve been on a roll when healthy, but so far Im just watching how they get shots and all of their actions are being well-defended by our guys.
It's pretty remarkable how Gobert has largely been rendered ineffective by teams spreading the floor to rain three pointers.
Yeah they are starting to get Gobert involved more . I don’t like the matchup of TB vs Rudy
Man, our pick-and-roll defense strategy is questionable. Our bigs aren't hedging and our guards aren't even trying to get around the screen. We're just going under and letting Ingles and Bodganovic launch them uncontested.
Just five years ago completely different story, a legit franchise cornerstone.
most fun i’ve ever had watching a wizards team
Bertans playing good defense, like real good. Man we lookin like a playoff team not going to lie
man **** the tank, we're going to the finals baby
Can we get this officiating crew every game?
Ugh every time IT starts playing well there’s always a but
Gobert is a game changer. We dream to have a defender like that.
Gobert is shutting down the lane. Bryant needs to start popping out to 3-point range. Gotta pull Gobert out.
Gobert's defense in the third is mindblowing...
I freaking love Bradley Beal but he is just the worst good shooter I’ve ever seen.
Beal -10 +/-, 25pts on 25 shots 0-7 from 3 and 3 turnovers. Yeah that's a guy trying to get to the allstar game instead of helping his team out by setting out until healthy.
Gobert single handedly destroys the PnR
Take away that and about 75% of the Wizards offense disappears. Going to be interesting to see how Smith et al. adjust to that.
It’s crazy to look back , I remember when we let Bojan go in RFA so we could use the money to extend Otto.
A few years later and it looks like the wrong decision lol.. Bojan is legit scorer in this league
Feels good to have refs give good calls for once lol
since when is mudiay on the jazz
literally feels like the jazz dont miss threes
I don’t ever wanna see Mahinmi try and take Gobert off the dribble again
and there goes the lead
Bojan saw he had IT on him and it was just game over from there
I'm so sick of Isaiah Tomas
I'm so sick of Beal missing layups
Why does every single player on this team try to challenge gobert every possession
Over 4 minutes with no fg for us
Bryant against Gobert is hilarious, he's just not a good defensive center.
How do you blow lead that quick??? And Gobert did nothing before 3rd quarter lol
Bertans is insane. Wish they’d look for him more. McRae and Ish get tunnel vision too often.
how to lose a big lead:
play bonga, Mahinmi, and IT at the same time
clarkson is cooking the **** out of us
It feels like we’re actively seeking out the worst possible shots to take
how is possible to forget how to play basketball during a 15 min halftime
jazz swung a random trade with the cavs for clarkson and haven't lost since...
gobert is starting to tear it up inside now. our bigs have no chance against him when trying to get defensive rebs
the words clutch and Beal have never gone hand in hand in my mind. I do agree though that his 3 shooting has fallen off the face of the Earth this season.
Beal is so good at driving to the rim and he just keeps bricking 3's in crunch time cmon man
wizards literally did everything possible to lose this game smh. Sheppards gotta prioritize defense and rebounding. Team is severely lacking in those departments.
Every loss gets us closer to a coach who can hopefully run a game plan and force Beal to stop trying to be a combo guard
why does quin snyder always look like he's 3 seconds from murdering someone
Rudy is killing us
Man they can’t miss.
Feels like the Wizards are allergic to stops some games.
another winnable game if they stayed away from hero ball Beal lol
Just not a winning player
Are we hacking Gobert??
I need aspirin watching this game
Beal needs to either remember how to shoot threes or stop shooting threes
I'd still give him the green light on open looks or catch and shoot. But his contested/off the dribble 3s were automatic bricks/airballs.
Liked the fight but losses you know are winnable just hurt the most, it feels like defense and ball movement need to be a point of emphasis though.
I hate that this team inspires no confidence, even while we were up 15 at home I just kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, which it did. We just need defense to be a lot better. Some Utah guys were always wide open for 3s and they kept sinking those
Just one run of cold shooting. Utah is good- no shame in this loss.
Gobert was the difference in this game he killed us . We need a real force in the paint to get to the next level
Thomas bryant is good for what he is, but he'll need to do a couple PED cycles before he's capable of handling guys like Gobert.
Gobert had ONLY 2 POINTS in first half. Like did we play that much better defense
I'm so fed up with this
Why does this team always give up if another team scores a few baskets in a row?? Every year with different players
This 3rd quarter Jazz run cost us the whole game
127 points allowed to the Jazz does not happen if Beal, Bertans, and Bryant aren't in the lineup. Frankly, it was much more fun to watch this team without our supposed "best players."
Dude had 2 points at half and ends like 21.
Jazz continue to impress recently. If Conley comes back all healthy and ready to play like he did on the Grizz they're gonna be a massive problem come playoff time.
let's focus on how the texans blew a 24 points lead instead hahaha
Clarkson and good shot selection is something I never thought would go in the same sentence
It’s early in the season, but if his play continues at this level, the only reason he wouldn’t win his 3rd is because of voter fatigue. Maybe we’ll finally see him in a all star game
Wtf happened in the 2nd half to the wizards. Pathetic display. Forgot how to play bball.
Bradley Beal SUCKS. Playing the worst, laziest defense in the league just to have to energy to shoot below league average on volume.
SUCKS
Utah is a savvy team led by a coach who knows how to utilize his players (doesn’t hurt that their center is 50 stories high). That’s why the Scott Brooks Wizards have never beaten them.
Good offense so far but you'll see very quickly how different the defense is with these guys coming back. I think you have to take IT out of the rotation, you can't have Beal and IT at the same time doing nothing.
