Pulp Fiction sucked ***. The thing it did best was convince people they had to say they liked it so they could be considered cool, then it upped that by developing a rabid cult following who cannot explain why they liked it other than saying "it's cool" and various versions of "you're stupid" if you didn't like it. I think it's because people mistake shock for emotion. And then the "I'm cool why aren't you cool?" train gets going and people become conditioned that they need to profess they like it, and even believe that only shock = emotion. It's a spiraling thing for sure.

The only Tarantino film I have seen is The Hateful Eight, and I doubt I will see another. I agree with you 100%.
