This is the way it has to be. This is the best way to take him down. "They" (the forces that be that are using Trump) have already sold their followers on the idea of a Deep State that is after their mascot, Donald J. Trump. If Muller had gotten him, or impeachment, they would feel their election (tainted as it was) had been overturned.

So let's just vote the clown out of office, yeah? Are we tired of being represented by a disgusting clown? I am.

I'm ready for some dignity in the Oval Office. I'm ready for competence in the Oval Office.

I'm ready for any adult person to take the place of the overgrown baby we shamefully helped Russia elect to become our President.

Let's just vote the joke out of office and move on!

On one hand, every prez with this sort of economy has been re-elected, so Trump wins

On the other hand, IMPOTUS is really really bad, and Dems are mobilized, so Trump loses.

On the other hand, if there is a way to lose, the Dems will figure it out. (Iowa caucus fiasco, Dem nominating the worst candidate (HRC), Dem arrogant overconfidence, Dem "my candidate didn't win so I'm staying home", Dem youth indifference), so Trump wins.

What candidate Democrats have to vote Trump out? I think as scary as it is Trump will be re-elected as opposition just has nothing to offer.

I'd vote for anyone, including those who I have extreme policy differences, counting on checks and balances to limit big government trends. I'd even vote for Bernie or Elizabeth. Because I could never look my kids in the eye and say anything other than I voted against the guy who supported executing the Central Park 5 (after they were proven innocent) and led the racist birther movement. Among other reasons.

Not sure if you prefer their policies or not, but Sanders and Warren have plenty to offer.

I didn't vote for Trump last time, but I am strongly considering it this time. Obviously the day to day stuff with Trump has been a disaster, but looking from a high level I consider it to have been a net success.
If the democratic candidate is a moderate they will likely get my vote... I just don't believe that will happen. That being said, the candidate I am most drawn to is Andrew Yang. Yang isn't exactly moderate, but his practical approach to issues makes him seem like a centrist and so he has won me over. I also like that he tends to be data driven in his decision making.

I love to see the old adage that moderates will align themselves with fascists over progressives ring true once again.

But that is dangerous way of thinking as well. We have a saying back home - running from the wolf, run into a bear. What if you will elect somebody even worse than Trump?

How about competency and maturity just to start.

I mean Trump sucks so bad that everyone looks great when put next to him

Who do you think is running that would be worse than Trump? Gilbert Gottfried? Bill Cosby? OJ Simpson?

Trump is the epitome of "nothing to offer"

I don't get this thinking that it takes some great candidate to beat the worst President in U.S. history.

I will say that I like Bernie, Elizabeth and AOC. AOC gives a strong voice to the young folks, Warren has policy depth and Bernie has conviction and consistency.

I disagree with most of their policies but have nothing personal against any of them.

I agree with more Trump policies but the dude is just toxic to our country and ego maniacal.
