2020 NBA trade deadline discussion

Man he's not even playing Chess... he's not playing any games... he's playing "My dick is big and imma get this **** done". We are playing wait by the phone.
"We don't have any assets so we don't want to look silly being the one trying to initiate."

"We don't have any assets so we don't want to look silly being the one trying to initiate."
Pat just made his team better... cleared cap space... and traded a guy that got super high and freaked out on a team plane... they also moved the guy who gave him the edibles. They were hard capped and also saved like $5M in tax.

Please Locke, Tony, and Andy tell us how we don't have assets and that we are being aggressive.

12 seconds for Christian Wood please.

Not sure about that... he can be moved but we make every move we should make 12-18 months too late.

I'll throw something I think all teams would do in the trade machine... one moment please.

Thanks but I still believe he is one of the most costly errors in franchise history

Here you go... we get parts... some expiring but all useful and make sense with the second unit. We get a second from Minny to save them a bunch of dough... we might be able to get the 1st that NY is getting from the Clips in the Morris deal... I'm cool without it.

NY needs a reputable vet... Conley isn't washed just not a good fit for us... he's played better individually, but takes the ball out of Joe's hands and is too small on the perimeter... doesn't make our core guys better... cut your losses and move on.

Not bad. Has potential.

10 player trade, but these are the times for ideas right: http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=rtqflf9

Clippers get Morris
Knicks get Rozier, Shamet and Kidd-Gilchrist
Hornets get Conley, Randle and Davis
Jazz get Harkless, Ntilikina, Biyombo

We do it to get front court help and shed Conley's 2020-21 money. Everybody else should be happy getting guys they are reportedly interested in.

Clip traded a player for cash just fine. Why can't we jusf trade Ed for cash lol. Like quin seriously considering Ed to play again for us after what he's shown in the minutes given?

Not bad. Has potential.
Presumably the Knicks would move Danny Green if they did the deal with the Lakers instead... there is a version of this deal where we pick up Green instead.

We are not nimble enough to do this though... we likely have not even seriously considered it... we aren't prepared for this type of change... our head will be in the sand... maybe this summer we change...

WHERE IS THE ****ING TYLENOL!

Wow...GS realized that Russell sucks... they must love them some Wiggins.

GS knows this draft sucks... they also know that Russell sucks and Minny will give up 4000 pts a night.

I would have thought the draft assets and RoCo would be more appealing. Minny actually looks kinda okay doe... liked Beasley and Hernangomez… now they have a pg... before they had none.

Interesting.

I'll be legit shocked if a trade is made, even though I'd like to see something. My guess is the FO feels like this slump is an anomaly and they like what they have out there. That or they don't but are afraid of disrupting team chemistry.

Me either. Kerr must think he can fix Wiggins. Worth a shot I guess.

This means the Knicks are no longer in the running for Russell. Make a deal Front Office.
It’s also a bet that Russell sucks and doesn’t make Minny better. Surprised they couldn’t get a little more. That Wiggins deal is rough.

Yes first round and 2 round exits are successful, Exum too now Conley

Correct. Making the playoffs every year is successful. Drafting steals like Rudy and Donovan = success. Finding gems like Ingles and Oneale = success. Stealing Clarkson in trade was a good move.

I understand this losing streak is frustrating. But damn people need to stop overreacting.
