Portland had a sixteen point lead in the second half and couldn't put the Jazz away. Shouldn't have let the game come down to a single call. *shrug*
hes the best offense player on the team. @ me
The hate Conley is getting this game is mind-boggling. He single handedly brought us back into the game in the 3rd.
And leads the team in the soft and the low IQ categories. He rarely makes a hustle play. He makes TONS of careless turnovers (apple, cherry, and unforced). He takes terrible shots at the end of games. He missed the free throw tonight and swanigan nearly tied the game. His defense is meh at the very best. He cant rebound.
No, it was defense. We didnt have enough quality offense to brag about in the 3rd. Our defense FINALLY showed up for a quarter and we shut them down for a LONG period of time. When we had the ball we watched the it stick and we didnt capitalize on a lot of easy possessions. What happened to team basketball where we move the ball and give up tough shots for better shots and then get great shots. It died when Conley came back into the rotation.
I completely agree, quite obvious on replay that that was going to be way off. While it was a goaltend that layup was about to miss badly anyway. So call it a justice. We needed a break.
Blazers scored 72 pts in the 1st half and only 42 in the 2nd half. Jazz upped their defense. Also note, Georges Niang didn't play in the 2nd half and only had 8 mins tonight.
What is Mitchell saying? Hard to understand 5 negatives in one sentence.
Possibly. What are the rules for a ball in play off the glass where the ball has no chance of touching any part of the rim nor will it pass over any part of the cylinder area? Where does it become legal to touch? Does it matter if it’s a member of the team on offense or defense?Dude, you need to brush up on the rules of basketball.
The only way they can rationalize not closing games with Clarkson imo is he still hasnt got much practice time, ???Quin really needs to stop taking out Clarkson at the end of games. I’m glad we broke the streak! I’m encouraged by the way Conley and Ingles played together today. We played much better defense in the second half.
