Trail Blazers @ Jazz 8:30 PM MT: THE LOSING STREAK ENDS TONIGHT

The hate Conley is getting this game is mind-boggling. He single handedly brought us back into the game in the 3rd.

No, it was defense. We didnt have enough quality offense to brag about in the 3rd. Our defense FINALLY showed up for a quarter and we shut them down for a LONG period of time. When we had the ball we watched the it stick and we didnt capitalize on a lot of easy possessions. What happened to team basketball where we move the ball and give up tough shots for better shots and then get great shots. It died when Conley came back into the rotation.

And leads the team in the soft and the low IQ categories. He rarely makes a hustle play. He makes TONS of careless turnovers (apple, cherry, and unforced). He takes terrible shots at the end of games. He missed the free throw tonight and swanigan nearly tied the game. His defense is meh at the very best. He cant rebound.

Are you talking about Bogey? If so I very much disagree with pretty much all of this.

Watch Boogie more carefully when he isnt shooting. It's not compelling. He gets outrebounded constantly. He is a squishmallow compared to Favors and that's a big reason why we look so soft this season.

That was a bad call. The Jazz get a freebie on that play. Gobert reputation made them swallow the whistle. It is like MJ in the day but now Gobert gets it on defense.

We had a 117.0 Offensive Rating in this game. This offense was fine and Conley was great.

The defense in the second half was the difference. We stepped up and showed a little more hustle and toughness.

If the refs notice this malfunction real time the whole end of the game changes. Portland would have been down 116-114 with only 8 to 10 seconds left. There's still enough time for Dame to drive in that situation. But on the second night of a b2b, on the road, with only 7 active players, and that much time left? Dame may have decided to pull up and take a 3 W or L. Goaltend probably never happens.

Blazers scored 72 pts in the 1st half and only 42 in the 2nd half. Jazz upped their defense. Also note, Georges Niang didn't play in the 2nd half and only had 8 mins tonight.

He played 3 possessions to start the 4th and was benched for O'Neale.
