With Utah now firmly in its stride after a slow start to the season, and Conley looking closer to his normal self after recovering from a knee injury, I think he could certainly have a breakout stretch over the final third of the season.

Conley has always been immensely talented, and he makes too much sense on the Jazz not to be an important piece. As long as he’s healthy (and the team is helping by resting him on back to backs), he should be an incredibly valuable player. And with Utah playing so well as a team, Conley can be worked back in at his pace without the immediate pressure to perform. That all seems like a combination for sustained success.

Maybe the national writers know something we have overlooked.

you don’t think he can be good in the second half? We aren’t going very far without him.

I really hope we don’t rest him on one of the back-to-backs every single time. Like seriously wtf? When did every player become a complete and utter *****? The guy might be injury prone but ****. If he’s healthy, he’s healthy and he’s God damn 32, not 37. Seeding is sort of important and I don’t want to finish in some three way tie because we lost a very winnable game or two in these five B2B’s we have left. Like does the guy really need to sit for five ****ing games?

It'd be nice if it's during the playoffs but I highly doubt it, seeing how the team is more successful when he's not playing.

Numbers 2 and 3... yet we start a different lineup at the beginning of the game and second half. And that lineup is a -2.1... I really think Joe or Mike off the bench should be something we consider.

I think he probably will break out and I sincerely hope he does, because I'm getting tired of the whole "Conley bout to break out" narrative. "Any day, Conley is gonna start playing great", "Is this the game that gets Conley out of his funk", "Conley's breakout game is right around the next corner". I like everyone else want to know wtf this guy is gonna bring to the table. I don't think it'll be anywhere near enough, but it'd be nice to have an idea if this guy is a total failure on the Jazz or if he actually has some value when hes playing well.

He has been playing well... needs to sustain it and we need to keep winning.

I'm just as interested to see if Donovan gets back to form after a little break. Conley just needs to play at the level he has the last few games he played, but we really need pre-all star selection Mitchell back.
