I don't buy it. As a role player he'll be even more selfish, more annoying and have a worse attitude. He'll hurt the team just as much if not worse. I'm not convinced he's better than anybody in the league if your goal is having a good locker room and winning basketball games.

Never been a big Cousins fan but that was more because of his negative attitude than anything. I'm convinced that the guy has turned the corner and become a real team guy starting in Golden State for the playoffs last year. I watch a fair amount of Lakers games and he's been nothing but totally supportive cheerleader out there. Anyway the guy has always been strong and intimidating, two qualities our team sorely lacks. If there's a chance he'd be ready for the playoffs, I'd take a flyer on him at league minimum, and partly because I think he might be motivated in a series against his old team.
 
Jazz with two contenders in town for the backup 5 spot. Hopefully a dead can get done soon.

Disappointed that Lakers got Markieff Marcus. That is a player that could have helped Utah a lot, served the roles that Jeff Green and Ed Davis were supposed to do by himself.

He’s apparently going to stay with the Lakers despite being waived. Not sure how that’s even allowed. But yeah. Even if hobbled, imagine Houston trying to put PJ Tucker on him...
