How concerned are you personally about COVID-19, however you want to interpret "worried", whether that you might get infected or it will affect the economy in general, or your job in specific, or whatever. Discuss.
Did this take away muy JAZZ GAMEs @DasJazz yeah? life changing right there AND I'M PISSED 10Voted for the first option, anything other than that or option 2 is pretty much asinine.
I think DasJazz is being a complete *** about this.
Is the fear that we're all going to die? Nope, that's not what anyone is worried about.
Is the fear that the healthy population might spread this to vulnerable people who might die? Yes that is one of the fears. This is much more deadly to the elderly and people with underlying health issues than the flu. Not by a little bit, by a lot.
Is the fear that if we all get sick at once and "get it out of the way" that our medical infrastructure will be overwhelmed, resulting in many unnecessary deaths that could have been prevented with basic care? Yep, that's pretty much what's going on right now. We're trying to spread the instances of infection out over a longer period of time so that cases can be dealt with as they occur and the correct amount of care can be provided to people who are most vulnerable.
Is this just basically the common cold? **** no, this is WAY different than the common cold and saying that it is, over and over like a braying donkey even when it has been explained several times what the difference is makes you look dumb as ****!
I'm being rational too. I'm going to a pub I supported that just opened a few months ago and may not survive because of this. No, I am being very calm and rational. Suggest that you do not the same my friend.
Hell, tomorrow I am taking the wife to our local Chinese restaurant for some good old Hibachi!

I'm not avoiding things, but I also don't have direct contact with any vulnerable people.
This thing looks very different if you are elderly, have health conditions or if you care for elderly people, like your aging parents or whatever.
It also looks very different if you are the sole caregiver for elderly or sick and/or elderly and sick and you work in the service industry and can't miss a paycheck and keep things afloat for yourself and the possibly several people who depend on you.
So stop being a smug jackass and try to understand that for some people, maybe not you and maybe not me, this is a serious situation.
This is not the cold.
If your contact with the vulnerable part of our population isn’t direct, then you can be damn sure that you’re connected through just one degree of removal.I'm being rational too. I'm going to a pub I supported that just opened a few months ago and may not survive because of this.

Its amazing how ignorant and loud your being about this. Very childish.Half of my family lives in Washington state, you know, one of the hotbeds for the virus. This includes my sister and my mother, so no, not smug at all, just not a hysterical person freaking out about something that won't even be a real issue in a few short months.

thats not calm and rational. In fact, that’s the exact opposite.
Do tell. Should I go to Costco and buy up all of the toilet paper?
Rational is exactly what I'm being thank you very much.
