Jrue is one of the best guard defenders in the NBA. Plus unlike many of the other elite defenders is also really good on offense and making players around him better. Plus he can play the 1 or the 2.

Who's the 2 ahead of him?

He plays the most minutes and has the ball in his hands the most. Ingram has more ppg. So does Zion but he's hardly played. Also when the teams been healthy they have played pretty well. Also he has been pretty great in the playoffs when healthy especially on defense.

He’s a good player in a sea of good players taken in the third round. It’s not like he’s a perennial allstar he can’t elevate his team as a #1 option and only made the playoffs I think 2-3 times playing all these years with a top 5 talent in Davis. I wouldn’t say he totally sticks out from anyone else picked in the third round.
