What's new

Coronavirus

There's a chat exchange forwarded in a local group in China that says some guys from wuhan and Chongqing we're found positive again after they were released from hospital. They took a nucleatic acid test before release but after few days, took a Nat+CT test and found positive again. Now they fear that those who were released are still carrying them and a second wave is coming.
That happened about 3 weeks ago. My friend who was in Wuhan but now in Beijing had someone from Wuhan call and tell her everyone needed to be retested. She never had it but her parents did. But they had a bunch of cases that got cleared that later showed positive. But I am not sure if the tests were bad or not. But they have also had multiple cases go for over 30 days with no symptoms that were carriers and eventually got sick.

Also Shanghai was forced by the central government yesterday to shut down a bunch of things including gyms. China had previously said marathons and a few other things could begin in April but today they rescinded that statement.

Well Well Well...

What do you know? Just now on NBC nightly news the Head of CDC, Dr. Robert Redfield is saying we should be wearing MASKS even though you're not showing symptoms WHO are saying still saying otherwise.

Too little too late?!?!?!

Now they're saying at lease wear cloth masks... LOL .. 3,000 deaths and nearly 200,000 cases too late IMO.

Lol stop being such an old man, if you're on a computer left click and select open in "incognito" or "private" tab, or if you're on a phone long press and do the same.
I'm almost never ever on a computer. Sorry dude

I started wearing one to and from my office, mostly because I've been under the weather the past few days. I don't think it is COVID, but just in case...

Trump suggested we wear scarves.

Ivanka should be coming out with a new line of neck wear any day now.

Wow I'm late. And I thought it's getting better but it's not. China isn't safer than any other country out there. It just "appear" safer

Today's Utah statistics:
** 887 positive diagnoses from a base of 18,537 tests
** 95% of people who have been tested have been negative for Covid19
** 73 patients are reportedly hospitalized statewide, meaning 8.2% of positive cases have required hospitalization so far
** 5 patients have died, which translates to a 0.56% fatality rate so far, up by 0.2% from over the weekend

The Utah State Health Dept. says that Utah's hospital capacity will be able to handle the expected rush of new cases.
