Post Your Gobert or Mitchell Trade Ideas

The corona virus has started making people crazy. I really think people are over blowing this. When there is nothing going on sportswriter got to make crap up to have something to talk about. I don't believe Gobert is a diva, he seems like he likes to joke around. His joke went too far and now people are trading him for mostly crap. There are a few decent trades but most are crap.

I won't believe it until I hear the words come from the the front office. Any thing from the media is speculation. If the Jazz were going to trade either one do you think they would leak it to the media? That is a way to get a bad deal and wreck your franchise's reputation.

Either for Golden State's 1st round pick.

Yes, let’s trade an allstar in their prime for a first round pick in a noteworthy weak draft. Forget that Donovan still has at least 5 more years with us, and is an all star at 23. Let’s trade him for a high pick in a crappy draft. Well done. Same goes for Gobert

If he is going to be a cancer, do you really want him around?

I know this isn’t trading Gobert or mitchell but what about this trade.

Utah gives
Bogdonavic
Conley
Davis
2020 1st
For Chicago’s
Markannen
Thad young
OPJ

Not sure if that would work.
Was thinking Conley for OPJ and bogie with a first for markannen and then filler.

I might consider Nickeil Alexander-Walker + either Ingram or NOLA's unprotected lottery pick this year. Maybe you could talk me into swapping Jaxson Hayes for Ingram.
We'd be stacking NOLA by putting Gobert next to Zion.
I like the Pelicans as a trade partner but would rather send them Mitchell than Gobert.
Dream case would be Mitchell for Ingram + Ball. I don't think NO would be willing to give up that much... but maybe they would. DM has two advantages, 1. he is much cheaper and 2. he is under team control for longer. Honestly I would throw something in the deal to sweeten the pot (like our 2020 pick) if it pushed the deal over the edge.

Utah would want Ingram because he would be a great replacement for DM as the offensive focal point and if we could get a big guard it would unlock the Gobert rolls.

I don’t like to think about trading Rudy... been one of my favorites of all time. If we did big wings would be my primary target... I’d hopefully couple the trade with a Conley for Horford deal. Allow us to play 5 out and switchy.

I can tell you right now there is no hypothetical trade that will be realistic and also make me happy/excited. They will all look kinda ****** or be too skewed in our favor.

Chicago for Carter, their pick this year, Thad, Sato might be not terrible. I’m not a big fan of Markannan or White... sell them on the Rudy Lauri pairing even though Lauri can’t defend and is the “great” shooting big man that doesn’t actually make shots.

I hate this years draft so we could likely swipe next years pick in this trade too... assuming they don’t move up in the top three this year.

I like Carter more than Lauri or Jarrett Allen (if we did a Nets deal).

Alright... here are my trades...

Rudy, Ed, Bradley (and a couple of minimum guys for salary matching) for Carter, OP jr., Satoransky and their pick this year.

Then I trade Conley for Horford and the OKC pick they own this year.

Start Horford... play him 24-28 minutes a night... Carter learns under his wings. Sato turns into the Joe Ingles replacement we need... we transform him just as Ingles was transformed. OP is hopefully healthy and gives us some size and defense on the wing... if not he expires.

Agreed; IMO Carter have an intriguing margin of growth...and he is quite similar than Rudy from some points of view and he also seems to have a grat IQ. He could fit well in our game plan.
Only one doubt...I'm not sure that Chicago will trade him easily.
