His physical profile and all-around game seem similar to Keith Van Horn as a Freshman/Sophomore at Utah (who would translate well to today's NBA as a perimeter big). It's hard to tell if he can guard on the perimeter at an NBA level though, since he hasn't really played against NBA athletes. A lot of his highlights are from when he was 17.
His feel for the game is pretty advanced for someone that young and that big, including his handle and passing off the dribble. His shooting has been a bit flakey, but it's projectable given that he's 78% at the line. It's just rare to see 7-footers run the floor that well, shake a defender and drill legit side-step 3s. It jumps off the screen.
He doesn't turn 19 until late December.
