For the record, there are plenty of spots open after 10:30p in Salt Lake City -- Squatters, Red Rock and Rio Grande were all within 3 blocks of that Marriot Hotel. He must've ordered pizza because he wanted delivery.

Man that was brutal watching those last two episodes. I went back and watched highlights of each finals series a few weeks back. It's crazy how many games the Jazz had leads going into the final 2 minutes. The jazz really blew those series away.
The supporting cast didn't show up, and Malone didn't show up in important moments. I.e game 1 1997 - Malone couldn't hit his free throws. game 5 1997 - Malone didn't box out TONY KUKOC which resulted in the jordan 3... 1998 game 2... Malone had 16 points!! game 6... not paying attention to jordan weakside when he had done the same thing throughout the series. Just a blunder of errors... that's what makes it so ******ing frustrating. They SHOULD have won one of those years.

I get it that Kerr beat us in that game 6 in 97... but c'mon. You get the ball out of the opposing team's best player's hands. Why they didn't double MJ in g6 98 never fails to bewilder me.
The brew pubs were open til midnight and the kitchens were open until 11:30p. I lived in SLC during the mid-90s.
