What's new

The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

Sometimes there are other things on a primary ballot like local office primaries for school board, city council, state legislature and governor.
Ah, that's makes a lot of sense. Good thinking.

Are you satisfied that this issue has been thoroughly investigated and that there is nothing there?
No. To me the fact that he was appointed to the board of a major company in an industry and country in which he has demonstrated no special understanding or knowledge, but whose relationship with the United States was under the purview of Hunter's father, reeks of influence peddling. What was he selling, if not that?

Do you have Hunter Biden's resume and video of his interviews?

He doesn't need to demonstrate any of that to anyone's satisfaction but his employers. And you don't have access to the information you'd need to make your statement.

What did Sen Murkowski do that triggered Trump's reaction? Somehow I missed that.

this thread has her quotes. Which is funny, because you can hardly consider her words as harsh. but to trump, you’re against him unless you’re actively kissing up to him.

His connections to Devon Archer, who demanded two seats on the board for his capital fund in exchange for making Burisma the "Eastern European Exxon" as detailed extensively in all of those industry publications that were published contemporaneously I gave you links to months ago?

The Ukrainians literally did the investigation the GOP asked for and came up empty. What I'm hearing you say is that there's no piece of evidence that would disprove the "crooked Hunter Biden" theory in your mind. It's beyond the realm of testing with proof.

If you supplied links to those publications I was never aware of them. If it was demonstrated to me that Hunter was selling something other than influence that would change my opinion. The idea that Devon Archer is so powerful and was just pulling his buddy Hunter along sounds laughable to me. I'll bet the Burisma executives did not have to have their arms twisted very hard because they could easily see the advantages of putting a US VP's son on their board.

A reply to you from September, to which you replied. https://jazzfanz.com/threads/the-official-lets-impeach-trump-thread.113221/page-104#post-1821946

Here's the Russian language business article from 2014 describing the hire. https://www.capital.ua/ru/publicati...-napominaet-exxon-na-zare-svoego-stanovleniya

It's just a partisan clown car with you buddy. I guess I should give up, I've been on a 9 month campaign to try to get you to learn something about this issue because you came out so strong on it. But clearly you've got some selective amnesia about facts on the ground.

I'm in a partisan clown car because I didn't study your links which are written in a foreign language? Okay Bozo, you would know.

Trump from today:
Donald Trump says he hopes George Floyd, who was killed by police on Memorial Day after an officer forced his knee on the back of his neck for nearly nine minutes while facing the ground in handcuffs, is "looking down right now" and saying today is a "great thing that's happening for our country" as the nation's unemployment rate declined but remains higher than during the Great Recession.
The president said: "Hopefully George is looking down right now and saying, 'This is a great thing that's happening for our country. It's a great day for him, it's a great day for everybody. It's a great day for everybody. This is a great, great day."
Asked how the rate of unemployment among black Americans can be considered a "victory" as it continues to increase, the president told a reporter outside the White House, "You are really something."

What a dumbass

Here's a clip

If Trump supporters put half the energy into listening to the other side as they do unraveling Trumps words, they would see what all of us see. Sadly, they’re so entrenched and twisted up they’ll go down with the ship.

They’re scared. It’s scary. Owning up to your own ****. Makes you mad, cause it causes pain to confront your bias. It’s hard and takes courage to face those emotions. Most just bottle it up, till it boils over in hate and anger. Facing your short comings, anger, and bias takes emotional strength. Many are too scared to build that strength. No gym or diet will do it. Only being honest with yourself. I’ve been learning this lesson all week.
