NBA playoffs, info from Woj

Does this mean the playoffs will be done 1-16 as opposed to by conferences?

"The NBA's return plan includes 13 Western Conference teams and nine Eastern Conference teams."
My understanding was that they essentially have included the teams that fight for playoff spots (closer in the West, so more teams), and for all intents and purposes we are playing to see who will be 8th seed (plus some internal seeding between the 7 safe-ish teams from each conference).
Edit: ...but otherwise do a normal playoff.

I've seen that NBA is thinking about using NBA2K crowd noise to simulate fans.
Yeah it could be a solution, but thinking about it I find that it would be interesting, as far I'm concerned, to listen what the players/coaches/referees/... are saying and doing. I mean,to hear the real game voice (also the bouncing ball, the net when someone score and also the sound of a big block).
I'm sure it won't be the solution as it would be bad for players but damn it would be very interesting for me.
I don't know if I've explain clearly what I mean, hope yes...

I heard they are going to have 2 channels for a match in Serie A, one with real game sound and one with added crowd noise. That seems ideal to me.

But football players aren't very audible, bigger, open stadium and more space between players while we can probably hear basketball players breathing.

Just attach mini microphones to all the players so we can hear the trash talking.

Yeah but actually I meant not only trash talking but also the whole nba game environment (the ball, the net...).
I mean, I really love this sounds so for me it would be interesting/exciting to watch such a "bare" game.

I strongly hope they are far more trained then me...when I'm playing you'd probably only hear me breathing and panting, nothing else lmao.

Lol, same here. I don't get tired much but I am always panting. There is also the occasional yell when I call switch between breaths.

I got what you meant, just joking. I am in two minds about that, on the one side watching the bare game will feel like watching meaningless scrimmage, on the other some artificial effects will probably sound dumb.

It's going fo feel like a scrimmage at first but I am sure when it gets competitive that feeling will go away.

Scrooge *** dorks hating on the 3 and small ball. You know whats boring AF? Low post scoring. Unless its Shaq destroying rims to death I don't want to see low post ball at all.
Everyone that hates the three are the “get off my lawn back in my day“ types. Empty post and open floor makes for beautiful basketball.
