Hey there

New to the board just found it. Glad to find a community with a lot of discussions.
So who goes back with me to the beginning? 1979 was epic in SLC. Birth of modern basketball with Bird and Magic at the U.
Then the Jazz arrive with exhibition game at the U of U. Double header Nuggets vs Suns and Lakers vs Jazz. I remember they let Pistol get after it in the debut.
What an incredible time and glad I got to see Pistol a handful of times before it all went south.
I have a few great salt palace items from back in the day. These are First game program and the game giveaway poster Nov 27 1979. I don’t think Pete even played. Thanks Rich

He had a career high of 12 points and played in 83 games over 2 seasons for the Jazz, then was traded to the Celtics who cut him and absorbed his salary for the next two years.

NBAHoopsonline Twitter said Carl Nicks May be worst player in
Franchise history, based on 0.0 W/S rating.
I don’t know analytics very well but in my 40 years with this team he was not the worst. Not even close.

Man these Arena give away posters , like a dark chapter those players probably want to keep in the closet.
