Tough Day To Be In Law Enforcement

You guys remember this one?

I definitely remember this one. I was so angry about it at the time. The guy was wearing ear buds and probably didn't hear the cop yelling at him. This was just one of the horrible examples of police not being held accountable for terrible decisions.

They cuffed the kid while he bled to death.

Made me so angry too. That kid wasn't given the chance to live.

I remember it. I remember thinking the handcuffing was unnecessary, but also that the guy was defying orders and reached into his waistband.

Let's face it, when a cop points a gun at you and you reach into your pants, I think using force is sometimes the only option. Would be a whole different story if the guy had his hands up in the air.

Sure, the guy could have put his hands in the air but he didn't deserve to die for not doing that. He should have been tased imo.

If someone is listening to loud music, doesn't hear the cop's instructions, realizes something is going on behind him and reaches down to turn off the music as he turns - he does not deserve a death sentence. The cop didn't even wait to see what was happening and shot the kid within 17 seconds of pulling up. The poor kid was doing nothing wrong.

This all happened because a lady in a nearby neighborhood called to say she thought she saw someone with a gun. Apparently that kid looked like the nearest likely suspect.

Buuttttttt I'm also not a fan of someone committing a dangerous crime with a gun, then doing more dangerous stuff with said gun, and then getting shot. 2 strikes you're out when it comes to gun crime imo. And I'm reffing to the mexican guy that got shot in SLC after committing an armed robbery, then running from cops dropping said gun, picking gun up again, and continuing to be a wild card.

Cops lives are more important, generally speaking, than armed and dangerous criminals lives. I don't expect them to wait until they are fired upon to respond especially when a gun is 100% in play.

Sure, I have less sympathy for someone running away from the cops with a gun. I'm not crazy about them being shot 20 times in the back, however.

Shoot to kill. I dont think # of shots is even kind of relevant.

I just hate when the family comes out with the "He always put family first. He loved his nieces and nephews. He was a momma's boy."

Sure, but he was also a violent criminal putting the publics lives in danger and he has to be held accountable for being a pos. And he was a pos. Sorry that he was dead, but he was a pos.

Can't wait until he finally kills someone to decide to take action.
