2020 Vintage 80’s 90’s draft winner changes my picture.

Rod Strickland

Rod was one of the most underrated pg’s of the 90’s. Coming from the streets of NY, Rod was very skilled, great ball handler elite finisher in traffic and a tough hard nosed defender and very good passer. One of the better two way players at pg of the 80’s and 90’s.

As a kid I hated Rod Strickland, always seemed to give Stockton fits defending him. Just always remembered him making things that much harder for Stockton. As I got older I really started to appreciate just how good he was and respect his game.

They were bitter rivals then they teamed up to fight. One was a goofy/funny guy (Goku/Barkley) and the other was a bitter hardass (Vegeta/Oakley).
Lol, Barkley may be funny and comical as a tv personality on tv in his old age, but this is the dude that in his playing days got in bar fights, caught other players and said he wasn’t a role model. Lol

I wanted to draft him with my last pick, but already had McHale and Kukoc.
