OBtuse can be depended upon to be a stickler for details, but he is always looking at one thing (or another) at any given time. I doubt he can process your proof offered here.
All in all, just roaming the country listening to the radio news, I've heard of quite a few majority Arab countries being interested in deals like this. I think the done deals includes some Euro count like Kosovo and North African countries like Morocco maybe even some central eastern Africa countries and maybe even Islamic majority Asian countries like Indonesia or Malaya, or, incredibly the south Asian countr of Pakistan. Who ever the hell was ever pressured to profess anti-Israeli political stands in the dying age of insane geopolitical militarists hell-bent on middle east wars. Well, we can only hope it is a dying age. The CFR and the RINOs owned by the MIC will do their damned business trying to keep the wars going, for sure.
The deals work like this......"Hey, bro Mohammad..... did you see what Obama did for Iran??? Scared you *****ess I know. Imagine Iran running the whole Arab world. We're scared too, but we're done with fighting your wars. If you want to do something about it, why not join up with Israel in the name of ending Iranian hegemony. And if'n ya wanna do that, we're sure we can do something to help. More trade, less tariffs, and you will look good to investment too."
The thing about debates with committed change agents and their daily talking point guidelines is just this: It's not about truth. It's about change.
I consider Jason's view of terms like "lie" to be somewhat less than the Christian standard. Jason says "It's not a lie if you believe it". That is not the Christian standard. Christian belief is that a statement's correlation with truth is the standard for judgment. It's a sin to tell lies, and a sin to believe lies. Truth is the measure.
OB has a Christian background, I believe, for once affiliating with a Christian group. Jehovah's Witnesses I think. I've been in many debates with JWs, and the truth is they have a better idea of who Jesus was than most mainstream Christians, even Mormons today. Not Mormons like Brigham Young, but Mormons like James E. Talmadge.
I therefore consider OB perhaps the only JFC participant with a residue of basic Christianity.
Early Christian apostacy was in part driven by the claims of Monotheism. It was just too hard to believe in Jesus without equating the Messiah with Jehovah. Paul got that all messed up, so did John.
In the Old Testament, David clearly made the distinction that the Messiah was not Jehovah, saying that Jehovah sent the Messiah, and brought him back to sit at His right hand "until I make your enemies your footstool." Jesus never even tried to overthrow any government or church, but did what his Father required, and gave himself as an example and as a sacrifice.
In the last days, when Jesus comes again, the war will be over. Jesus won't command one military operation.
At the Day of Judgment, according to Daniel, Jehovah will sit in judgment, and Jesus will be brought forward and made a prince over the human family, because he is the one who made it possible for us to return to the presence of God.
I'm in here as a sort of missionary to the Marxists. A strange calling, for sure.
But for any true believer, the utopia the Marxists see is a rehash of the Christian millenia. Whatever is loveable about Marxism was borrowed from Christianity.
Just kinda hard for us to do all that without Jesus.
