I’ve definitely pondered that possibility. Trump isn’t going to disappear entirely, that’s for sure. I think the probability that he becomes an Ailes-like figure in some media machine is fairly high. He’ll continue to spin out division in one form or another.
Way beyond even that.
I’m actually hoping that there’s a significant portion of “Trump’s Party” that sticks to him, and that Donald drags them down with him..... At the very least, something like that could make it easier for the D Senate hopefuls in GA who are facing runoffs in January.
Yes, that would be for reasons involving wealth transfer, differential policing, and denial of opportunities. Not that you actually care about the reasons, from what I can tell.
Still loling my ****ing *** off at this post—which was posted on Tuesday before many of us had even finished dinner. Not only because the lack of activity in this thread wasn’t a clear sign of anything (after all, the well-informed citizen knew that Trump would pull ahead in several swing states because of the volume of election-day in-person votes and that it would be a few days before the picture would become clearer), but also because infection has been absolutely awol since REALITY caught up to his claims (and all the right-wing talking points stuffed inside of them).
