Rayjon Traded to Cleveland for $$$

YES! Exum is coming back and a bunch of you can quit whining about not having a wing defender. Haha just kidding. Hope you're all having a great thx giving holiday.

God I hope so. Rayjon only has $340,000 guaranteed for 20/21. If we sent a 2nd rd pick to get rid of $340,000, then this organization is headed for a **** show.
Yeap. Would be vexing if it's only a money thing.
There are some players out there with the ability to contribute to the Jazz. I guess they're making room for something, and the money will only help with the tax implicactions of the move that's coming...
At least I hope so...

because second round picks alone can get you $$$$$$. we apparently need extra salary in space to sign extra player(s) or this **** makes no sense. we basically lose money by giving away these second rounders unless we actually do something with the cap space we created

Shaq Harrison, Nic Batum, Glenn Robinson have been mentioned here and there... may be it's a trade, a 2 for 1 thing....
Let's just wait a bit, it will explain itself...

One second round pick here, one second round pick there...and at the end no second round picks will remain.

Just kidding....anyway I strongly hope all these deals will work well at the end.
2nd pick can easily get you cash considerations on draft night. a couple of those you will have enough money to sign a guy to min deal.

I know I’m not dignified with a FO title, but shouldn’t we be the ones getting the second rounder?

For me this trade is meh. I don’t love hate it. I just don’t care. Not a fan of Tucker, and who gives a **** about 2end rounders. If the jazz need a second rounder, they can easily get one.

While a lot of people were praising the new ownership for going 3mil into the luxury tax, Andy was talking about how there were a lot of potential moves around the margins of the roster to get them back under it. And he was predicting that we would make those moves...

we gave away 5 second round picks so far this offseason. that is...? about 2mil in cash considerations we gave away, that is to assume all of them would end up in late 50s range. if one of those become somewhere in the 40s or even 30s, they are worth even more.
