So any opinions on this Pitt game, starting at 10am locally 12pm eastern, on ESPNU?
I'm hoping for the defense to come out fired up and ready to stop the run and put the offense in some good early situations to let Hays get his confidence on the road early and hopefully let it roll from there. Pretty vague and vanilla I know but trying to keep it simple and my expectations tempered.

I know nothing about Pitt except for the fact that they ran all over South Florida. Wouldn't be suprised if Utah won, wouldn't be suprised at all to see them lose. It's just been that kinda year......
I heard an interesting stat about Pitt the other day. I think it was that they have out-gained all other Pitt teams through this point in the season. That includes the Tony Dorsett era. Other than that, I don't know anything about them.
The fact that it starts so early is going to be detrimental to the Utes, IMO. Combine that with traveling two time zones and the Utes might not even know what day it is.

winnable game that i consider near a must-win. I don't want to just settle for a good enough bowl game 6-6 record, like we are byu. we need to get back to winning ways.
